Oh yeah I am serious—you are a nut if you think that’s on Cobb

Tried to say during the summer, this was an upgrade but some was like the rapper was Golden Richards or something, and how the signing was a downgrade.

What surprised me the most was Cobb's ability to fight for extra yards after the catch. That play where he got the few extra yards for the first down, no way Beasley was doing that.

Totally. Beas would have been on the ground immediately after the catch.

Cobb's YAC makes up for Beasley's lack of YAC and faircatches. Beaze was a success story and I rooted for him tremendously. Undrafted, left the team then came back and became an important part of the team.

But... its OVER. Ya'll need to let it go. I hope Beaze does well. I really do but im not gonna sit here and look at stats just to justify whether or not the team shouldve payed to keep him in Dallas. Seems like a waste of thought process to me. 2 cents.

And you're absolutely blind if you dont think that was partially to blame

But what's new? I'm not even surprised when you say this stuff anymore. One of the bottom five least knowledgable posters on here.

I don't get why everyone turned on beasley. He was awesome here. He caught everything, played hard, and he fought for extra yards.
Almost had his head twisted off against maybe the colts? I agree... Beaze played as hard as he could given his size.

Beasley was great in the role he played here but he listened to his wife and posse which caused him to think he should be valued like Mike Irvin in his prime instead of Kelvin Martin.

They say that the Beezer Posse rolled about three deep

Updated

Beasley:
9 catches on 13 targets
123 yards
69.2% catch %
One turnover drop
On a team whose 18th in the league in passing
Yards per target- 9.46

Cobb:
9 catches on 11 targets
Only 93 yards
82% catch
One turnover drop
On a team who's 3rd in passing for the season
Yards per target- 8.45

Yikes

Might want to update the OP @xwalker

One counts $ 6.9 million against the cap and the other $4.5 million

Beasley completely lost me when he...you know...left. I don't care how he does any more. He made some great plays while he was here and I loved that. I don't care how many he catches or drops in Buffalo unless we play them.

If given a choice between both players when healthy, I take Cobb every time. Include overall health? It's a toss-up. I'd take the younger Cobb despite him having a lot more miles on him.

Hard to compare those WR's when the difference in talent at QB is so great.

But clearly Cobb will be better for the Cowboy offense than The Bease was.
I was wondering when that can was going to get opened. 2 or 3 seasons ago, everyone was saying what an asset he was.

I think the Cobb pick was outstanding. I think he brings a little better skillset to the position.

Cobb excels on the end around. They would never use Cole for that, he would break.

Beasley was always overrated here. He benefited from having Romo at QB who made him relevant. Same thing he did with Crayton, Austin, Robinson, and the argument can be made he was the only reason Dez Bryant was good. After he lost that, his numbers dipped and he became replaceable. Cobb seems to be a much better fit here. We'll see if he disappears for long stretches like Beasley seemed to do.

I just wanted to say that you completely owned @Kevinicus in this thread. Now that you own him I hope he is at least good at mowing your lawn.
LOL. Completely owned by spouting 100% nonintellectual and absurd drivel and being proven 100% wrong. It figures you would support that.

He had zero arguments, made crazy ridiculous statements, and had to resort to strawmen (and still lost those arguments) and name calling. It was a complete and utter embarrassment for him. I'm sure he'll make a good friend for you.

Yeah, we don't see eye to eye on most things, but you embarrassed the other guy.

He brought nothing factual to the table. "Cobb is clearly an upgrade if you cant see that you're blind" is uhhh.... stupid lol.

I'm really not surprised XWalker thinks he won, Xwalker himself gets owned on the daily including in this thread. I'd prefer them not now our yards, but maybe they'll pay for a Cowboys cheerleader to mow it for us in their place.
