I believe I heard that typically recovery is usually 2-4 weeks on this kinda thing and it's usually closer to the two week end. Hopefully Smith can fill in decently enough for him.

Gallup is a great player in the making, fun to watch his growth. Smart, tough, freak on routes. Could be a #1 for some teams already. Keeps improving and working like Jerry Rice.

FYI...…….I dropped Gallup in my fantasy league and picked up Smith over Cobb this week.

Not bad, but as a fantasy guy myself I would have stayed with Cobb. Only because I believe cobb out snaps Smith and would have more opportunities even if Smith scores a long ball.

And then you have tavon back so he and Smith may be mixed up with Gallup out.

Still not bad. I'd take your setup but definitely would have to switch in up in a 2nd league or lineup.

Fantasy aside though, the cowboys still have a nice situation going on!

Feel like Cobb has a much lower floor, especially in a PPR league. Seems like we've earmarked at least 3-4 designed plays for him a game, even with Gallup out there

Good to hear but we are going to find out just how important he is. A lot more than people think.

Having been thru that surgery (2 times), l'd say he won't play for at least 3 weeks. No reason to rush it...

No doubt he's important, but this is where coaching comes in. I'd like to see Moore put Zeke and Pollard in the game together and use both as receivers too...

True on all accounts. I am strictly going for upside here. Cobb is more likely to give you the steady 5 catches for 60 yards.

Ok. You mean actual coaching. Thought for a second you were talking about JG.
