Taco didn't help himself with his tweet....

“Free me,” Charlton, 24, tweeted with the eyes emoji. The tweet was in response to Cowboys COO Stephen Jones citing Joe Jackson’s position flexibility as a reason why Chalrton has been inactive the first two weeks of the season.

The tweet has since been deleted. Charlton followed up with, “Trust me the last thing I want to do is to have to go to social media to get what I want so I can play football again.”

I think one thing that may have occurred is the influence of a malcontent in the locker room. Taco may have been influenced by loser like David Irving. DeMarcus Lawrence may have been a poor influence as well since he wanted to get paid no matter what or if it took up cap room that may have went to everyone on the line.

In the end, it's up to Taco to overcome negative influences and focus on becoming a better employee. Taco should have been working on his craft by becoming stronger, faster and having better pass rush technique. He has made a lot of money during his career and more effort on his part would have pay a huge financial dividends. I am sure a team will sign him and he may can extend his contract, however he has hurt himself financially by not improving as a player and by taking his frustrations to social media.
That has to be it. That’s the only justification in cutting him is the risk of polluting others.

Stephen made it clear with dez, he will not tolerate any locker room malcontents.
I did not know that. Good information I always believed in the culture of the locker room

That same "point of friction" was the guy who campaigned for Taco more than anyone else. That should not be forgotten while Taco gets all the blame.

This essentially confirmed what I assumed, which was Taco being a malcontent and him possibly impacting others in the locker room.

David Moore said on the Ticket yesterday that even his teammates were tired of him.
I can believe that.

I'm not a Twitter hound, but the only love I saw anyone give him on Twitter yesterday was Antwaun Woods.

I didn't know what to think I'm still confused what's happening with the defensive tackle the rookie. Do you know what's going on with him

What's going on with the defensive tackle, the rookie. Is he having a culture problem also a talent problem. no room for him yet I can't seem to find any information

I think it's a learning problem, and being assignment sound. He's a dog chasing cars out there and they have to try to teach him what he's supposed to be doing and what he's responsible for. Him being out on the field leaves us more vulnerable to busts like we had against Barkley and the Giants in week one.

Or he may have, but the same people who bungled the pick by advocating for him in the first place - despite the fact they'd already invested 2 years in him and finally seeing him have big success in WK3 PS - kept him inactive for 2 weeks without ever giving themselves the chance to see if he actually was turning the corner. Furthermore, by doing so they told the entire league that 1) he wasnt good enough to play- even on a team not strong on the Dline and 2) he was going to be cut soon, thereby killing any damn trade value he might have had. They just made one stupid move after another.
Having a good game in the preseason really doesn't mean much. Also Taco told the team in the summer he wanted to be traded.

Is it really just that simple. That's not a bad thing. Well it is for where we drafted him but still that's better than the alternatives

IMO that's what it is. Athletically he has a lot of positives, that would worthy of a first round DT. Now, you can read conflicting reports about his attitude/work ethic in UCF, so maybe that's why they wanted to just get rid of Taco.
