I know I have spoken about this before, probably just didn't explain myself properly. Is this the reason tacos no longer with the team. I think it's so much more important than some people may understand. It's a battle out there I want to fight next to Brothers family

you can't be your best if you are a loud mouth lazy but. the worst part is not that you aren't your best but you put others that are impressionable on the same path.

it's like your child being around entitled kids or kids with no respect. they need to be around who you want them to become....

taco was over drafted and he and Marinelli butted heads Marinelli should be the next one out the door was a bad pick at the time should of never been drafted where he was

Yes but was he released because of the culture of the locker room or because of his talent level. I understand he's just was a bad teammate maybe I got that wrong

What goes on and how it goes on in the locker room it’s extremely important.

I thought Taco was kind of a strange pick for us from the beginning. If you watched his college tape, he definitely made some plays, but he also took a lot of plays off. He was never what I would call “driven”. He had ability in some areas but he was never great at any one thing.

Marinelli always loves guys with a motor that runs all the time. He will take a guy with less ability but works his butt off (like Kerry Hyder) over a lazy guy who has ability but isn’t driven. Taco was a player who’s motor ran hot and cold, and when he failed to show that he was willing to work hard at getting better, I think he lost favor from his DC. And eventually I think he lost the locker room too.

Who knows. We know last year Taco had to sit out a game or two for conduct detrimental to the team, or a violation of team rules … whatever it was they called it. But ultimately if he was good enough they would have hung with him.

Has a lot to do with it. Tank is the main alpha in there. Everyone else feeds off of it. Street Taco didn’t coincide mentally with what was needed.

I did too and I was outspoken at the time that I preferred Watt. Oh well.

I also though Travis Frederick was a horrible pick. Sometimes we fans know better, usually the front office/coaches do.

I read somewhere that Lawrence had some issues with him too

That wouldn't be surprising - Lawrence has talked in the past about how he didn't approach things as well as he could when he started his career. He said Crawford sat him down and told him what needed to change - how he worked, not smoking dope anymore. Lawrence listened and he and Crawford are best friends now.

I can image that Tank reached out to Taco in hopes of being the sort of mentor that Crawford was for him and got shut down.
