The lack of a pass rush has been easy to see in these first two games. Where has Lawrence been?
Is his injury still holding him back ? I like Lawrence, but I didn’t care for his contract
. He has always been a streaky type of player, but I kind of expected more out of him. I was hoping that he was wanting to prove that he deserves big money. What’s your opinion?

It sure seems like he has feasted on bad OL teams and disappeared when it really counts.

What's up with Lawrence is that he hasn't had a book end partner. That ends this week with Quinn being activated. Miles Garrett is twice as good this year because he has Vernon on the other side. Makes a huge difference when there's equal pressure from both sides.

It seemed to me that he has been plenty active. He just doesn't show up on the stat sheet. He's affected quite a few plays this year. It'd be nice if he had help but with the Quinn suspension and the injuries to the DL, it's been slim pickings. It'd also be nice if we didn't play defense in sit back and wait mode and rush 4 constantly.

I'd rather have a guy that has multiple qb pressures a game, than i guy that falls into a sack and gets credit on the stat sheet.

If Dlaw is pressuring qb's that means other guys are getting opportunities. Stats like sacks don't always tell the whole story.

Tried top explain this to the "everything will be fine" fans.

When a guy doenst go to training camp and misses all of preseason he will typically come back rusty. See Lawrence, see Zeke, ect….ect….

Then there is the fact that he is the ONLY guy on the Dline that is any good. So he gets focused on.

What do you expect? Missed training camp and preseason due to surgery and has had no help on the other side.

Was playing on a Franchise tag with no guarantee if he was seriously injured cowardly as you put it?
If he was seriously injured, he'd have enough to retire on and live high on the hog. Yes, I call squeezing people for every little nickel cowardly.

Yeah. Like I said they aren't "bad" but they aren't "great" either. Just average. They need a difference maker. That's why the Hill pick made no sense. I just think a safety will impact a game more than a defensive tackle. Think about it...Xavier Woods/Jeff Heath have more of a say in the outcome of a game than Maliek Collins or Antwaun Woods. It is a passing league. Usually your ends are the ones who pressure the QB. Yes, there are a few exceptions (Aaron Donald, Fletcher Cox)
Not a topflight disruptive DT, not even close.

Both have been well documented, without a doubt. Obviously, he's no choir boy, despite apologizing for the incident with the boy. Holding his surgery for his shoulder injury surely wasn't in the team's best interest, no doubt. Yet, he got his contract and he's still on the roster and very likely to still be the most productive DE on our roster, along with Robert Quinn. You didn't expect him to be cut for that stuff, did you? Thought so.
He’s not worth the $$ Jerry gave him. He disappears against teams that have talent. We’d have been better off rolling with Quinn at RDE and finding another LDE, maybe even Taco. I’m willing to bet right now that Lawrence doesn’t get more than 9 sacks this season.

If you follow Tank at all it would be a safe bet to say this isn’t a thing at all. This dudes work ethic and drive is what you’d want in a guy who just got paid.

Follow his SM, I’d love to have a team full of Tanks and Dak. This is the same guy who bet on himself on a tag with no guarantee if he got hurt.
Yeah, young kids just LOVE Tank. He screwed up royally. He was a total jackass to that kid, Giants fan or not. Class can’t be learned or bought, you have it or you don’t.

Oh no, a player taking a rivalry seriously. How dare he. We all know the rivalries of the 70's were non-existent, and that those guys all sang kumbaya together after games.

Well I guess since Taco is gone, D_Law is the next in line.

The proof is yet to be seen. His previous shoulder injury will be an ongoing issue until he's completely recovered. I doubt he's 100% as yet. Labrum tears aren't subject to quick cures. My son had one and it took well over 6 months before he was back to normal. If he gets 9 sacks, my guess is that Lawrence would be fortunate to have done so. With everything that has happened, I do have my doubts that he's an RKG.

I'm not about to write him off until this year is in the books, though. His refusal to get his shoulder fixed on time was to the detriment of the Cowboys from the start. We'll see if it helps his cause to have Quinn back on the opposite side of the DL. It's a guessing game, at best.

Also I believe he came back earlier than projected from his surgery recovery time. He'll be fine.
