Garrett can't seem to handle any mental make-up issue type players.

Jimmy got to Super Bowls by handing Charles Haley.

Taco
  • Taco failed because he was or became uncoachable.
  • He did NOT fail due to a lack of physical ability.
  • Dorance Armstrong does not have more physical ability than Taco.
Was it the Pick of Taco that Failed or did Garrett fail to make Taco accountable?

Has Garrett handled any character issues players?
- They kept Dez happy by force feeding him the ball.
- Zeke has only been in limited trouble.

Garrett as Head Coach:
Taco
Greg Hardy
Josh Brent
David Irving
Dez (eventually)
Rolando McClain
Jay Ratliff
Ahmad Dixon
Joseph Randle
Rico

Others that had issues:
Beasley - Complained on twitter while he was here.
Ryan Switzer - Openly complained to the media.
T.Williams - The 2018 move to IR seemed to be more of a flake out and an long term injury.
Kyle Orton - Faked injury or illness to get cut (I forget the details).

Garrett as the OC, not HC:
TO
Patrick Crayton
MartyB

I submit the "Right Kind of Photo" test for draftees. Body language. Head pulled back. Looking down his nose. His Cowboy photo was like this, only more so, with his head turned away and looking back down his nose and side eyed.
This is the face he chose to put on to make his first impression of teams who might draft him for millions. I wish I could find his Cowboy photo. That one screams Wrong Kind of Guy. This one is a subtle version of the Cowboy photo.

At some point you have to question the "physical ability" aspect. What does that mean, if you never see it?

It's also unclear whether he was *ever* coachable, college or pro. Only started one year in college, while playing 4 years. His draft profile is all about being on the wrong end of instincts, awareness, and diligence.

Moral of the story : don't make a high draft pick out of a guy you're *counting* on the Dline Whisperer turning into a player. Save that for the low cost cast offs around the league. Less risk, and also maybe a better chance of a guy with an historical attitude problem of turning it around *after* he's paid a price for it.

I'm just posting this for the video. I recommend turning off the audio.

I'm not sure about reading too much into still photos, but body language on and off the field as well as interviews can be very revealing.

His on field body language was not quite as bad as back when they had MartyB but Taco's body language was not good.

He also lacked that 2nd/3rd effort on plays which I specifically recall on some run plays in the playoff loss to the Rams.

We all know that Marinelli grades player's effort on each play when reviewing the film and gives them a "loaf" if they didn't hustle for the entire play.

I'm certain that Taco received plenty of "loafs" when he was already butt-hurt that fans were complaining about him.

You literally told him you didn't care about his opinion like three different times in this thread. So you should know how dumb that statement is. I would tell him the same thing but he has me on ignore.
I had told him several days ago that if he didn't like the replies that he got from me, then he should quit replying to my posts.

He stopped for a few days but then started replying to my posts again.

I finally started just replying to his replies that I'm not interesting in his opinions. Then he replies back for me to stop replying to him. My point on my last reply to him is that if you don't want somebody to reply to you, then stop replying to them. It's like getting mad at the burner on the stove for burning you when you keep putting your hand on it.

He is a very annoying person. It's weird because I don't think he is intentionally attempting to troll. I don't even think he knows what that means.

He literally knows next to nothing about any details related to the Cowboys or football other than the very most obvious.

I really don't understand how people don't understand that they don't understand the topic.

I casually watch basketball and baseball, but I would not go on an NBA team's message board and debate the NBA salary cap. I do have a general knowledge of NBA salary issues but I don't keep up with the details enough to debate someone about it.

I'm not worried about it. There is a read between the lines concept in the thread that some people understand and are laughing their arses off about and the joke is not on Garrett, it on the replies that I'm getting.

I recommend that you move on because if you eventually understand the true meaning of the thread you will not want to look back and realize that you didn't get it originally.

Just look at the specific people that are attempting to rebuke thread. You've probably never wanted to be associated with them.
Joke's on me, I guess. Onward.

* Yeah,That D.C. places great emphasis & holds in high esteem, that proverbial non-stop rumblin' motor of the players he squads out/ puts on the field.

If a fella were look up the word "entitled" in the dictionary, I'd say it might be appropriate if Taco's picture were beside it.
