I think the defense will get 4 or more sacks this week and it won’t be because we’re playing the Dolphins. It will be because Quinn is back which will take away some of the double teams against Dlaw.

Miami could pass on almost every play in the 2nd half.

So far in 2 games Miami has 27 rushing attempts and 71 passing attempts.

They have given up 10 already in 2 games so I hope so.

And yes part of it will be because we are playing the Dolphins (see the 10 sacks in 2 games above) - though part of it will be Quinn as well.

Considering our sack leader is out for this game we shall see. Coming into the season I thought we looked really good on paper, not so much in games.

Crawford 1 sack (out)
Dlaw .5 sacks
LVE .5 sacks

The rest of our Dline has as many sacks as taco....only he didn't play.

Wasn't dinging you. I like to see interceptions instead of sacks. Turnovers are my favorite.

I expect a few. We cut down the yardage allowed last week against a better team. So this week is a good time to really sharpen our teeth and gel. I think Quinn will want to show out against his old team and knows there system so he may be able to help.

Remember this is still a NFL team. If we take them light and play down to them like we have in the last it could be a game. Let’s see if we continue to put away teams we should.

and it will hold NO WATER.. against that team , they already saw to shaky offenses and couldn't get it done, seeing the worst it should be EXPECTED but IMO wont matter.. cheap stats against bad teams is not impressive..

you saying 4 sacks against that team is going to lead you to believe all is well, fixed and give you confidence going forward?? not me..

Hope he is in game shape. It usually takes a couple games to hit their stride. Our premier DE is still coming back from a late surgery (stupid) and we have a new toy that will be a difference maker down the road. I truly believe our defense will come together mid season and be a beast.
