Romo by a long shot. Make all the excuses you want, he failed miserably in the post season.

I would then put 2.Eightball 3.Staubizzy
Polar opposite.

Romo may have had one decent all-around team, in 2007. But even that team didn't hold up to several of those in the 90s and 70s.
And that team lost to th eventual Super Bowl champs after he did throw the perfect game-winning pass to Crayton with 17 second left, only to see it drop harmlessly in the endzone due to a stopped route.

Anyway, Very few of those 2007 "Pro Bowlers" were legit. Maybe half at best. The game had lost its meaning by then and voting was midseason back then

I would argue that this year's team--from top to bottom--has more talent (especially youthful talent that shouldn't wear down) than the 2007 team.

Did the 07 pro bowl have fans votes counting towards being picked?
If so it would explain why a couple of them made it.
You’re splitting hairs trying to pick either 78 or 93 over the other, they were both exceptional squads.
Should have Charles Hayley on the 93 list as well.

Sounds like a long list of excuses to me. Eras were different so there is some difficulty comparing players to players. Romo had the most talent around him and did nothing with it. In hindsight, he did have Garrett-top around him in some form as OC or HC through most of his career. We all k wow how mediocre JG has been. I’ll give him that much at least....

Staubach had some legendary teammates, but Aikman, Smith and Irvin could have won 2 more Championships, if Jimmy didn't leave.

People put way too much stock in a garbage game and an individual accomplishment. Pro bowl berths don't win championships. Neither does coach of the year or executive of the year. It's crap. Nice for the player, but somehow pro bowls have become more important than playoff wins? LOL It's pretty easy to rank these teams. And the 2007 club wasn't close to either one.

Seriously... simply replace the words “Pro Bowler” with “Hall of Famer” and suddenly this question becomes fairly easy to answer.

Yes.
And voting ended early, so teams that started strong anf were media darlings got everyone not on the bench making the team

I don’t think Jimmy staying would have seen us win more championships, the 49ers bought a one season defence to beat us in 94 and 95 was our last hurrah before injuries brought it to its inevitable end.
Now, if we hadn’t had to lose players to free agency, then things would most likely have turned out different... The 49ers wouldn’t have had the team to beat us and we wouldn’t have lost the starters we had on both sides of the ball.
4 in a row would have been likely, we may have even squeezed another.

Roger and Troy had the benefit of a Superbowl caliber defense.
