In short?

Our Dtackles are paltry. Our safeties are the worst in the NFL. Although great hit by Heath today.

WE have probably the worst play making back 7 in the NFL.

I would agree....but I think the problem no one is talking about is...Jaylon playing the middle. It's having a domino effect on everybody. The reason why he's there...is to hide him from having to cover. LVE isn't the same player in space. He's best as a run stop the run enforcer. Jaylon rarely blitzes off the corner now...It effects how we get people in 2nd and 3rd and long...Teams have figured out...to beat the Cowboys...run the football...quick short passes. We haven't adjusted. :rolleyes:

We should play mostly man against the saints,the DBs have to give the Dline time to make a play.

Yeah...I don't get it either. I thought the reason why Hyder made this squad was to be the quick pass rushing DT like Reid was for us last year. So far...he's done nothing but take up roster space.

I’m hardly a hater but the D is making me uncomfortable- which is odd since last year it was the D that carried us. I’m hoping it’s just young guys being inconsistent and better days are on the horizon, but three games is enough to say this is a trend.

Not buying the injury excuse, this was supposed to be the deepest team we’ve had in decades.

Honestly, much of it seems to be lazy coaching. I mean, you’re only rushing four yet receivers are running single covered downfield.

Not blitzing much and playing a lot of zone. Our biggest defensive issue is not having the offense go on 13 play 7-8 minute drives to a TD.

I agree. The talent level is extremely high. This defense has no excuse to be anything less than great.

They have given up a ton of yards. Few sacks. No turnovers. Miami dominated the second quarter and should have had the lead at halftime. People are fair to criticize.
