They have given up a ton of yards. Few sacks. No turnovers. Miami dominated the second quarter and should have had the lead at halftime. People are fair to criticize.
They scored 6 points in the 1st half. A FG in 2 quarters. ZERO in the 2nd half.
Blah blah blah - yards, sacks and turnovers.

What’s wrong with our D that is giving up 14 ppg?

You guys need to enjoy your life more & worry less

LB’ers nonexistent, DB’s getting torched, dumb penalties. How does it get fixed?

This whole team under Garrett has never put much effort into doing homework and scheming on offense or defense. Finally they have what appears to be a creative mind on offense and thats what they need to do on defense.

We were out of sorts and in danger of being behind at half. Blah blah blah.

I feel that the biggest issue for the defense is the lack of pressure from the interior DL. There were several DTs available in FA including Suh, McCoy, Daniels, and Richardson. I wish that they would stop with the dollar store shopping for DTs.

I know that they drafted Hill. Rookies don't generally start though unless they are straight studs.
The answer to your observation is Marrinelli. He doesn't want those guys. He is the problem. But he is old, and as such everyone in the FO never challenges him thinking he has been in the league so long he has to be right. This assumption is wrong, but it is what is happening. Marrinelli is wrong, but no one has the guts to tell him.

they did the same thing with Linehan until the situation was untenable,if the D underachieves this year he is gone.

I know this is going to come as a shock to many, but i've been saying this all offseason. We have a bottom 5 defensive line with DLAW being the only impact player. When he's not pressuring the QB, this defense will struggle. Marinelli needs to dial up more blitzes. I think he sat back in zone today believing Josh Rosen couldn't beat him.

Agree.

We’ve seen a lot of BBDB in the first 3 games.

We should be ok...until we face a tier 1 or 2 QB.

Let's see how they do against teams with good offenses before saying something is wrong. I don't care how many yards a team gets..it's all about that score at the end of the game. If they get 500 yards, it doesn't matter... what matters is points allowed. How is that difficult to understand?

Those that seek perfection... can keep seeking it, but know that perfection doesn't exist.

NFL seasons, like life, are journeys. Let's see what this journey entails.
