I would like to capitalize on scoring drives EARLY in games – rather than the slow starts we keep having in the past 3 games this year vs these scrub teams.
. Whether penalties, drop passes, miscue passes, etc. something manages to bog down our offense early on, and it becomes an uphill battle to get back into the game and seize the lead.

- Now what happens once we do (slow starts) that against the better NFL teams we will be facing ? what will happen when we go against the better QBs and we have to play catch up ?
vs Saints … focus heavily to take Kamara out of the game and make Teddy Bridgewater beat us ! . Betcha Payton is going to counter scheme Kamara vs Jordan Lewis type game plan this time around.

- Though saints gonna be a might bit tougher to run against, we cannot get pass happy and take that element out of our attack. Our OL will be tested against Saints front seven. They’ll dial up blitz vs Dak and overload vs our run game, they will want to take away run game and make us one dimensional, they’ll force us to beat them in pass game.
the irony is that should be exactly what we want to do vs Saints, in taking away Kamara out of the game, and forcing Bridgewater to beat us

- And I see Payton dialing up plays vs Cheeto as he is clearly struggling in bump press -and yet once again, not getting his head turned around in coverage.

- We could get away with mass penalties and turnovers vs Dolphins, ..but not against the likes of Saints and Green Bay upcoming in next two weeks.
I seem to remember being a second half team most of last season too. I was hoping Moore's playbook would change that.

Saints will be in "US versus the World" mode come Sunday Night. We better be ready to start fast and deal them a KO blow early. If not, the saints will run us out of the stadium. We can expect the Kitchen sink being thrown at us. Gonna be a real challenge. Not sold on our D being up for a task like this just yet. I think we are still dealing with moving parts.

And I have ether!
At first, I felt fairly confident I could get away with the assault, avoid security and escape without incident. For some unknown reason, I am beginning to feel like one of The Joker's crew during the bank scene at the start of The Dark Knight...

Teddy Bridgewater will be looking to bust out in primetime. We will need to play near perfect on D like we did last year if we are to have a shot. If we play the bending style of D we been playing this year, we get beat BAD. Saints are a finesse offense. Gotta out physical them. Starts up front. That's how we beat them last year. Smash them in the mouth early and often.

Have you ever had the opportunity to see a Saints game in the Superdome?

Take from me and the times I have gone there to see them play Dallas. It is ALWAYS an 'US versus the World' atmosphere in the Superdome. New Orleans fans take no prisoners inside the Dome. It has been that way since the Dome Patrol days but even ratched up a few notches following the infamous hurricane season.

I sincerely hope I do not spark any old-and-tired nonsensical Katrina nonsense from any fellow members by mentioning that last part.

Tough place to play a game... our D is not playing at the level it was playing at when we beat NO last season.

Still dealing with some injuries in some critical spots too... I don’t see us getting crushed, but I don’t see us playing 60 mins of focused, error-free football either

Gonna be a dogfight— and they are defending their turf. I could see us giving up the lead late in the 4th quarter on some fluky play or some kind of controversial call by the refs that gives them the win

:lmao::lmao2::lmao:
It may not matter since I do not believe I will get out alive!

On a serious note, it looks like we will not be going after all. Sometimes fulfilling family commitments suck. :(

I for one am happy the Saints got out of Seattle with a 5 point victory. Coming back to New Orleans as a desperate 1-2 team and potentially serious home dogs would not be a team I'd want to face. Brees or no Brees, they're better than that and are well coached.

Bridgewater looked efficient, though not spectacular. Seattle lost the turnover battle (one fumble returned for a TD), failed on at least one critical 4th down attempt, and gave up a punt return for another TD.

If Dallas can play with more poise and cut down on the self inflicted mistakes and unforced errors (penalities, turnovers, etc.), they should most certainly come out of this game victorious.

What say you?
We don’t turnover the ball much at all! If they’re banking on that, good luck. We’ll play our game and Kellen will be ready, along with Dak and the O ready to execute!

I suspect Richard and Marinelli pressuring Payton and his backup, Bridgewater, forcing bad throws for turnovers.

Big D needs to shore up the running game!

I think you take their stars out of the game. focus on Kamara like we did last time. double up on Thomas and then force bridgewater and the rest of them beat you. if they do, then fine. but you can't let Kamara and Thomas dominate you in any way.

its a lose lose situation... If you beat them the excuse will be that Brees was out. If you lose to them its because Dallas is overated...

Special teams touchdowns and defensive scores are a sign of a well-coached team. It’s a SNF game and the crowd is going to be amped. With or without Brees, this is going to be a tough game.

Saints are opening in Vegas as 3 point home dogs, which is interesting.

I do expect the Cowboys to win this game. But it won’t be a game that gets wrapped up in the third quarter like the last three.

are you kidding me? Really? so I guess since the Saints are so well coached that the punt return for a TD was spectacularly designed? and of course, they spend countless hours at practice teaching their defensive players how to pick up the football off the ground and run to the end zone.

unreal........smh

4-0. Book it. Don't even need to watch. Just come back week 5 for the Packers game. Which will be a blowout too.

A plunger's take on the game: :D

Winner Dallas-----
Coaching: Kellen Moore
Line: Dallas by 3
Saints have no Brees
Better Offense: More weapons

Winner New Orleans----
Coaching: Sean Payton
Trend: Last 4 games over 6 years since 2013, the winner was the home team
No stupid defense nickname
No stripper bus
Better Defense: Saints can get turnovers and defensive scores
Home team: Superdome

Conclusion: Dallas has the much better offense, QB, RB, WRs. Dallas should easily outscore the Saints, but, has Sean Payton sussed out the Cowboys offense enough to have his defense up for the task? If the Saints get >1 turnover, it's going to be a hard fought close nail biter. If no turnovers, then Dallas keep their record intact and again covers the spread.
Line is a good reflection of how close this game will be.
But Dallas wins the day and the odds of a SB appearance go up!
Vinnie BaBoom!BahBang!'s take: I called in some favors and Dallas wins so fughettaboutit!!
