Philly or GB?

Who are you rooting for and why?

I was thinking about this earlier too, but came to the conclusion that it’s much better if GB wins. I hate both but we need to win our division first. We play GB soon and can take care of our own business.

The Packers. Dallas gets a chance to beat Green Bay in a couple of weeks so...damage a division rival for Dallas and then the Cowboys can worry about head to head playoff implications when the trams play.

I'm all in for the Packers! Not because I like them but because I despise the Philadelphia Eagles soooo much! Like I always say "If aliens came to earth and attacked Philly... I'd root for the aliens!"

As it was already said, I only see Philly winning if Rodgers has a big off night. If Philly gets behind like they have in their first 3 games then I see another loss for them. Especially if that Eagles O line can't protect Wentz. The Eagles falling behind means that the Packers will know that they need to pass to get back in the game and the Packers improved Defense is going to try and get after Wentz.

Definitely root for the Packers.

Always worry about winning the division first. You need to win the division if you want to have home playoff games.

The cowboys also do still control their own destiny against the Packers by playing them at home next week.

This. I never root for any other NFC East team. The only time I remember doing so was when the NFC East played the Patriots in 2007. I was hoping somebody, including our division foes, would beat them and stop the awful undefeated media chatter that grew with each passing week.

Green Bay. This kind of game could turn Philly's season around. They would be 1-3 with a loss. We can also take care of Green Bay next week for tie breaking purposes. However, this is the kind of game Philly has won lately. Their backs are against the wall.

Said this a few times over the years. Here were Landry's goals for each season:

1. Win the NFC East
2. Win the NFL CC
3. Win the SB

I will say this: If I thought Jeffrey and Jackson were done for the season, I'd think a Philly win might be best, because it's doubtful they'd win many games later in the season. I don't know when they expect these guys to be back but I'd be surprised if it was longer than 4 weeks, therefore I'm hoping they stack as many losses as possible.
