Payton got a lot of hate when he was here.

I don't remember that. IIRC he was run out of NY though. I think I remember Parcells saying he had to protect Sean from himself (I think Parcells thought Sean was too aggressive).

Being pass happy as the NY Giants OC was sacrilege and he got demoted and then was gone. Fans in Dallas didn't know a lot about him and his claim to fame was getting Romo because of their college connection.

I think he is overrated and he's the reason they lost that playoff game, not the no call. However, I do give him credit for going after Brees after he had that shoulder surgery on his throwing shoulder and most felt he was done. 6' QB that has to stand on his tiptoes to see the receiver down the field but has uncanny accuracy and delivery.

Don’t fall for it boys. Payton’s just greasing our wheels. Buttering us up and making us feel good so we come into the game lax and unfocused. Oldest trick in the book.

Don’t fall into the trap. Rip his head off!!

About the 1:40 mark, but he punch/shoves Todd Haley, not Payton. Payton's just standing there.

WOW. #11 was the Statue of Freeze LOL and the FG kicker was ...well I'm speechless. Love the vid!
