the eagles basically have the same "brutal" schedule

just like every season, win your divisional games and your PO chances are pretty good

A game when you are 3-0 is not must win.

Yeah the schedule looks tough on paper. But if the cowboys are a top end team, it’s manageable.

One game at a time though.
Not must win agreed ,

way to early BUT,

you lose and the 3-0 against cupcakes and are a pretender talk will happen..its must win in the eyes of fans but more importantly to keep the doubt from creeping in players minds over the weak schedule talk..

Ok cool so I guess we have nothing to worry about.. according to you guys we should destroy the Saints. And the rest rest of the schedule is cup cake.

Forgive me but I would feel a lot better if we were 4-0 heading to play a pissed off GB team. Not to mention the time breaker against the Saints for the playoffs.

How fans are taking this game lightly is beyond me.

We have the eagles twice, packers, patriots, Bill's, Bears and a surprising Lions still on our schedule.

Outside our division the only easy game is the Jets.
This is a must win.
Having to play good teams over the season doesn't mean losing this week is a must win. You don't win divisions or in the playoffs by only beating easy teams.

We really need to beat the Saints without Drew Brees, because our schedule is brutal. We will really find out what kind of team we have going forward.

But we need to take advantage of this next game. It's a must win imo.

Every game is important. The schedule does toughen up but look at it objectively - 13 games left, Dallas will be the underdog in 4 games, maybe. @ NE, @ Chicago, @ Philly, and this week. I could argue strongly that @ Chicago and @ Philly are winnable games. The tough home game like the Rams and GB, sorry if this team is a contender they should win those. Have to win the home games. This team is very good and really should fear no team.

How is saying a game is not “must win” taking a game lightly?

D@mn...3 games in, 3-0...and we’re already looking at a must-win game.

Cowboys are talented enough to beat each of those teams. Even though our luck has been to get great 4th quarter Rodgers, the Packers run Defense can be exploited.

As I watched the Packers / Eagle highlights this morning.
I thought... Are the Eagles that good at the run game or do the Packers defense against the run that bad.

Cowboys are getting a ton of breaks. No Drew Brees, Rogers probably just lost his best receiver last night to a toe injury. Philly lost another CB and their defensive backfield looks like a sieve. What more do you want?

Bills and Lions shouldnt worry anyone yet. Having a good record after 3 weeks only to end up having a bad year happens all the time, in fact the Bills themselves have done this several times in recent years

Every game is important but there are no must win games at this point in the season. Highly unlikely we go 16-0 so we must accept that we will lose a game at some point during the regular season. We could lose to the saints and then beat the patriots later, or vise versa. What we can not do is lose multiple games in a row.

What do you mean by "must win" and how in the world does this game qualify? Our only competition in division is the Eagles. The Eagles lost their NFCS game last week. If we lose our NFCS game that still puts us on equal footing with the Eagles. If anything, this is the opposite of a must-win.

Yeah, he beat me to it but he did get the same reaction. Some would rather read trash about their Mom than see the words "must win". Did you hear the disgust Aikman used when saying it last night? LOL'd at that.

I don't know how brutal this schedule is but I like a tough schedule and I am first and foremost a football fan. I would rather watch them lose to a better team, in a good game, than watch them beat up on patsies. This Saints game is the first one that's really gotten any juices going in me and to get to follow that with GB is great.

It's honestly setup favorably, with a nicely timed BYE. They just need to handle their business. The longest road stretch we have is 2 games. They're home / away every other week except one. We could be the Buccaneers and have 1 home game in the next 5. It'll be tough to play NE at Gillette, but it's tough to play them anywhere. The other toughy is CHI in December... but it is what it is. I'll gladly take on CHI away if it means we can face Rodgers and GB at AT&T. Thankfully we get MIN and LAR at home, as well.
