I know ive seen all of them at some point pick against the cowboys. Mickey probably the least out of all of them
Yep and I think he has his fans that expect that from him. Even when he was critical in the past of the team, he was careful how he positioned it and that was not about Booger, it was about what people expected of him. When someone was railing on the team, he was that guy with the "yes, but or however........" to try and soften it.

I don't listen because I don't care for his voice but have no problem with what he says, that's what I would expect from him. Just like there are posters here that I expect certain reactions and statements from and have no problem with that either.

They have in the past and yes they are allowed to.

Don’t be absurd.

You're right. I've heard them predict against the Cowboys however when I've heard it, they were building up the excuses ahead of time... Never once have I heard them say (such and such) team is simply the better team... When I've heard it, I'd hear "I predict The Saints because (just throwing out an example) Zeke has a bruise on his finger" (or some whacked excuse). Never a legitimate reason for the team to lose.

I can't recall company men like Mickey Spagnola having ever predicted a Cowboys defeat, when they do their pre-game analysis and predictions. (If Spags or Nick Eatman ever has, then someone correct me.)

Obviously, they can't seriously be expecting the Cowboys to go 19-0 undefeated and win the Super Bowl every year. But are there any job-related consequences for Cowboys employees like Spags predicting a Cowboys defeat? Sounds like a prime case of conflict-of-interest.
Spagnola has done many times.

why should he have to do so

There is no conflict of interest, if he wants to toe the party line, let him, no skin off your nose.

Please do not call him "Spags"...it sounds way too endearing. If I called him on here what I'd really like to, I'd be no doubt benched for a spell.

Mickey doesn't have a public opinion on the cowboys , he has to read what is given to him or the checks will bounce .

I don't get why fans think Mickey's not critical of the team. He's got a handful of significant criticisms (eg, the performance of gunners on ST coverage) that he beats into the ground and annoys his coworkers with all the time. On the other hand, he swats down stupid criticisms that fans raise and repeat all the time. He simply has what he considers to be his reasons for why the team hasn't gotten further and doesn't see the need to blame 'everything' when the reasons he thinks are the problem are sufficient.

Fans just don't like it because he dismisses them for being the ignorant blowhards they often are.

Spags is neutral. I like that fella.

But wasn't it him who stated he watched Green Bay with interest? I thought he grew up as a GB fan not Bears fan. But I may be thinking of someone else.

When the Cowboys win the SB THIS year. Mickey should wear a Dallas Cowboys earring during shows like "talking Cowboys" over at Dallas Cowboys official site. Just like Norvs bet with Michael Irvin. I never seen Norv with that ear ring as he promised. :)

Or since we are in a different era. Perhaps when the Cowboys win the SB this year. Micky should have to wear Dallas Cowboys nose rings on that show. I'll leave this in the hands of Zeke to make that bet with him. :)

Allowed? Yes.....although its probably not a good recipe for long term employment.

Mickey has never thought Dallas would lose a game since he has been doing his job and no Dallas player has ever been bad or ever made a mistake.

I never pick against the Cowboys. Even when I know it's not the right pick. Just feels wrong to do so. With that said, I'm also a realist and know when the Boys are probably not going to win. i.e. their match up against the Pats this season.

I picked against Dallas a lot in the Campo years. Most of 2015 as well.

It does beg the question. I have seen some of them pick against the 'Boys, but don't recall if Spags ever has. Interesting posit.
