Would I rather we be playing in a more desirable location? Absolutely, yes...

That place has always been obnoxious. Why do we play their place EVERY single time except that one time last year??

Since 2010 we’ve played them 6 times and 4 were in Texas.

That sounds like the most bogus stat I’ve ever heard...

We also play in GB nearly every time..
Lol

IT’S A CONSPIRACY! The NFL is hacking the computers of every website that reports on the NFL to make it appear we actually play home games against the Saints and GB! They are some sneaky bastids, that’s for sure!

I don't hear anyone talking about how old Soldier or Lambeau Field are compared to the Superdome

Well, I’m just being real.. I swear, we’re lucky if we even get 2 divisional games a year at home..

We don’t get any. In Philly, NY and Washington once a year they disguise the stadium to look like Jerry world to fool Cowboy fans into believing they are playing at home.

I almost laughed out loud as I drove by the Superdome to my hotel recently. I couldn't believe how small the place was. I was expecting a huge stadium. I would bet 3 Superdomes would be the equivalent to the Cowboys stadium in size. When I asked the Uber driver what was going on w/ the roof.....he told me about the on going lawsuit between the company that applied the coating to the roof...that was suppose to keep it clean...and the city. It's costing the city of New Orleans 250,000.00 to clean it after only 3 years. And now there is a fight as to who is going to pick up the tab.

Anyway...thought it was funny...because the aura that was the Superdome...crashed for me last week. You hear about the great home field advantage that place is for the Saints. Sadly..It's surrounded by hundreds of homeless people...It a depressing place.

I gotta give New Orleans credit though...they do love their Saints. When Brees got hurt vs the Rams..I happen to be bar hopping from one place to another...only to see one Saint fan after another ready to cash in the season. Face in palms...tears flowing...utter disbelief as the Rams crushed them in LA.

What I took away from that was this...this is a brittle fan base right now. We go into their house....put up 2 scores in the 1st....we might just roll these guys..because...all their hopes went down w/ Brees.

Anyway....Enjoy the pictures.

I was last there about 7 years ago. Its not that small, it holds over 70k which is pretty typical for an NFL stadium. It's kind of like being in a huge basketball arena. My only complaint was I remember not being able to get to certain sections off the ramps in the stadium and sometimes had to go down to go up or down. Its an interesting design, but a fun place.

On a side note what were your thoughts on Texas Stadium?

This year GB, Rams, Vikes @ home. Detroit, Chicago, NO away. that's 3 here and 3 away ... evens out. There is no conspiracy. If you played them last here in the reg season you'll play them away next time. There is a formula. I think we're lucky to get the 3 at home we got.

There aren't many places left where that isn't a problem. Relocate here and make camp at the 'Mystery Bus', 63° 52’05.96” N 149° 46’08.41” W. Very few people to step over there.
You mean the Magic Bus where Chris McCandless died?

Small, ugly, run down, dump but still a better home field advantage than Jerry's Death Star....

Can’t blame the home field advantage on the new stadium entirely.

Texas stadium crowds sucked too

Hold on, you’re saying we get an even number home and away divisional games each year?!?!?!!

I suppose I was just being humorous on Gameday..

I’ll calm down..

My favorite venue, Texas Stadium, was no less a dump than the Superdome, but it was my dump. The feeling of walking in that storied stadium was incredible.

The Saints are soon putting a ton of money into the Superdome for renovations and upgrades. That's a good thing for the City.

I remember the first time l went to Texas Stadium. We beat the Bucs 38-0 in a playoff game. I had watched the Cowboys play there since l was a little kid. It seemed huge on TV. I was so disappointed when l walked into the stadium. It reminded me of a high school stadium. It was so small. But l'm glad l got to experience it...

From what I've been reading, NO will be under water in the next 50 years. I won't be around by then but some of you younger people might want to make the trip just to say you saw it back in the day before it disappeared...
