And this is why you don't rush to pay Dak

The whole offense was awful, which comes down to PREPARATION. Guys were dropping catchable passes, Dak took a critical sack, Zeke did nothing, etc. Especially bad was that conservative offense we trotted out there.

it must feel really cool to say that when you obviously know nothing about how the game works. You choose to pin the loss on one player while propping up others who have taken part in their own fair share of regular season losses.

If Witten didn’t fumble and if Zeke’s non fumble was overturned....your thread doesn’t exist. No those aren’t excuses for Dak but no QB is going to win every game...no matter how much they “always find a way to win”.
LOL.

My bad. I see now that you were being sarcastic when you said Rodgers had won multiple SBs. I’m on your side LOL.

I posted this in another thread...

"Agreed that the offense played like crap, but not sure that game will hurt his negotiating position... When you have two fumbles on third down conversions, two OPI on conversions (one that gets you closer to FG range), and two 3rd down conversion drops by Cobb. That's 6 Drive stopping plays... Hard to drive the offense with those type of back breaking plays."

Add to that zero running game (Zeke 18-35... 1.9/carry.

Dak may have had 3 bad plays all game, but I don't think you can find a single QB in the league that had 3 or fewer bad plays.

I just wouldn't pay Dak at this point until I see how he does the rest of the season, especially against teams with a defensive pulse. For better or worse, richer or poorer (whether it be him or the Cowboys). Wait it out. And it looks like that's what's gonna happen.

Employment has nothing to do with understanding the game. You are just a casual fan at best...
It has a lot to do with you acting all football high and mighty. If you're soooo awesome at football good sir you'd be on someone's payroll for football not trying to belittle me to make yourself feel better because I don't agree with you. Its cool though because as usual online anonymity lets people act in ways that they don't offline in similar situations. Again even if I am a casual fan what has you being a more serious fan gotten you? Since we know the answer you really need to stop the madness sir like you're the Madden of this CZ expletive.

Wahhhhh! Dak didn't make a miracle comeback from his own 10 with 50 seconds left and no Timeouts. Wahhhh!!! LOL You guys crack me up.

Actually, it ended up being from his own 10 yard line with 25 seconds to go and no time outs! Lol!

Our run game was awful.

Just like last year, the Saints match up very well against us on both sides of the ball.

They have the speed on offense to stretch our defense to the sideline which most teams wouldnt dream of doing.

I thought you were the OP at first.

A couple beers and an ugly loss made me defensive. Time for bed.

Don't give me crappy offensive playcalling..

Don't give me Gallup is hurt..

I agree a better game plan + Gallup probably = a win.

But if Dak wants top-tier QB $$, then he takes this game on his shoulders and wins it. Like Brady and Rodgers would do in their prime. Despite the negatives, they find a way to win.

Dak is a fine second tier QB. Not top tier. This was NOT, I repeat NOT a great defense we went up against. And by the way, where were Dak's legs during this game? Did he take off and run at all?

Pathetic.
From Warren Sharp

The Cowboys first down play balance prior to the final drive:

11 runs @ 1.9 YPC
8 passes @ 7.3 YPA

First half only:

7 runs @ 2.1 YPC (14% success)
3 passes @ 6.7 YPA (67% success)

On first down Kellen Moore went extremely conservative (70% run in 1H). It was a big mistake.

Dak couldn't win tonight with no run game, but neither could Rodgers on Thursday night. All of those stats still resulted in a loss due to not being able to run the ball against Philly.

How yds did Zeke have? I’ll wait
Yep...and those receivers were running wide open all game . Dak was the least of my disappointments in that game. Zeke had no place to run and the receivers had no space to catch. The two fumbles were the killers in that game, though.
