Needed to pass to set up the run tonight. Couldn't do it. Tyron was getting whipped all night and the Saints only needed to send four. Needed more creativity in the play calling to counter it, didn't get it. Pollard wasn't even used. Zeke did look slow as molasses when he did get the ball. Not good.
He does look slow compared to other RBs. I think that’s why Moore doesn’t call more outside runs. He should have run some RPO for Dak.

Dak Zeke and Amari. All were no-shows.
It’s after a loss like this one the fans show up who are clueless about the game of football. The Madden fans. The guys who can’t figure out how getting beat badly along the offensive line causes all skill positions to break down. Field gets compressed.

you are one of those fans. You need to point your finger at a skill position player and pretend you know what you are watching.

this is a game of chess and your brain is playing checkers.

Because you don’t understand football. You may be one of those guys that don’t understand that a RB doesn’t run full speed into defenders. The Saints were aggressive, close to the line. RB that are worth a crap run with patience and vision not speed that you feel matters. Rewatch this game, watch every Zeke run and watch how many defenders were on him.

He had no hole to run fast though.

Zeke is a great back, but he is like anyone else. Needs blocking and the Oline got mauled tonight. Did he even have one outside run called? GP was horrid.
Ok. true. Still only 35 yards on 18 plays. Q
Amari will be fine. home teams get calls except for Dallas. Cooper was grabbed on every pass. His hips were grabbed. nobody pointed it out. Then they had the nerve to call him for 2 PIs.
that last PI was a trash call.

The Anti-Dak crowd wants to blame this all on Dak. But, this Cowboys Oline who is supposed to be one of the best in the NFL got worked last night. Some say that Dak needs to prove that he is worth the money. But, this O-line has to prove that they are worth the money against good defensive lines and defenses. Time for the Oline to man up and not let themselves get dominated again, especially when going up against the best defensive lines.

Zeke couldn't get anything done and Moore and Garrett's refusal to put in Pollard for a change of pace didn't help matters at all.

Zeke's going to be lucky if he can even be a top 5 RB this year. I see him finishing closer to 10. You don't pay a "game changer" that much money to play like this...
Of course you do. Your only understand stats not football.,

Zeke isn’t the guy who played poorly last night. You should be saying you aren’t paying T a Smith, Fredricks, Martin that much to play like that. Notice the passing game was awful also? Why is that?

I wouldn't continue to tell other people they don't know football when it's you that has very little grasp on football.

And it's funny you say to go rewatch all of Zeke's runs and watch the defenders around him, when you havent gone back and rewatched it yourself lmao.

When Kamara was getting blitzed behind the LOS he still made something happen, he's actually an elite RB.

The passing game was "awful" do to play calling on early downs, running on 1st and 10 and getting behind the sticks. Then to top it off we had two critical drops by our WRs(another one from your boy Cobb). Also our passing game took a step back due to not getting Pollard on the field over Zeke.

Not going to be good offensively if Witten is your leading receiver yardage wise. The whole offense was very offensive. Too many slow developing hand offs up the center’s butt on 1st down.

There was a point where Zeke needed to make a first down to earn his pay towards the end. He came up short . I'm thinking , 90 million and he can get this very doable first down ? ☹️

Did you see the play, or are you void of knowledge. Hit in the backfield, with his lineman in his lap.

No carries for Pollard is unacceptable. Needed a spark. Zeke didn't have it.

Listening to 105.3 The Fan, sounds like Sean Payton doesn't respect Dak. Thinks he'll be good but not now. Thinks it is still Zeke's team so they prepared as such. Shut Zeke down too and we lost.

Just 1 loss, but an ugly one.

He's definitely not the only one spouting nonsense; Zeke, Amari, and Dak could have done better, but the whole "best line in the NFL" got mollywhopped all night long.

Saints went all-in on stopping the run and this o-line isn’t good enough anymore to overcome that. Should have been attacking the short middle with quick stuff to get the backers from running downhill on every play but we never did.

New Orleans crowded the line and decided the Cowboys would have to beat them through the air.

They couldn't.

I felt the Cowboys played right into the Saints playcalling.

Lack of P.A., running in obvious run formations/downs.

Where was the Run option? Or the RPO? Make their linebackers actually think instead of trying to out muscle them. Or motion. Our defense got fooled a few times with motion with Kamara or Hill.

Even if 10 guys don't get fooled, if you can fool 1, then there could be an advantage somewhere.

Oh well, on to the next one

Edit: not putting it all on Zeke, NO did a good job of stopping Zeke. Just the stats are uglier than I thought during the game.

exactly this is team loss anyone blaming Zeke better look elsewhere.. we couldn't throw either..

really sure it wasn't working NO game plan all week we discussed here was take away the Running game, period, not just zeke..they as usual dared Dak and the pass game to actually go win agame by itself with no PA or RPOs because they were NOT going to bite..

what happened? Dak and Amari want big money but both Failed big time..team loss really.. Defense still giving up big yards and took TOP away so we had less possessions to make up for mistakes..

THIS IS NOT ON ZEKE and pollard most likely wouldn't have had much better luck although maybe it would have been nice to see 5 more snaps for him.. its on KM and Dak and Amari and the Oline as well not being able to beat what mostly was a 4 man line that plugged every hole and dared us to throw, then gave us zero time to get the ball out and when we did our Wrs were not open.. the Wrs were so frustrated they were pushing off to get open..

Ive said it ALL week we were going into lose, dont buy the hype, we beat 3 bad teams and maybe could have won last night with mistake free football but Penalty's on the entire team, fumbles, INts, etc etc all a team loss..
