As I was harping all year long....let him sit and rot. He's one split second slower off the snap, than he was as a rookie, there's nothing you can do about it. Against a weak front it's not noticeable because he has the extra step before he makes contact or cuts. But you saw the results last night, and a few games last season.

Should have used Pollard to attack the outside and opened up the inside.
Dopn't get me wrong, he's still a top 5 RB in the league, just not 2016.

Just curious when the last time anyone saw Zeke make a defender miss. All he ever does is put his head down, run into them, and fall forward for 3 yards. Don't get me wrong, the tough and hidden yardage is important, but in games like last night, we need a RB who can make something happen 1v1.

Zeke is not worth the money he is making, and in certain situations Tony Pollard should be on the field over him due to his more dynamic nature and ability to make guys miss in space.
1v1? When was he ever in open space vs a defender

Have you seen Kamara's rings and appearance? Do you know his lifestyle choices? The point is he looks like he could easily be a RAPPER. Whether you like Zeke or not, let's try not to bring appearance and "social" commentary into this? Makes you look silly.
You're the one that just went social and looked silly.

I'm just pointing out Zeke and his constant off-field drama and "scene." There was a reason Joey Bosa had to stop being his roommate.

Zeke is way more into being "Zeke" than he is being a football player.

And it's taking a fast toll on his body. The zip is gone.

I couldn't understand it either. It felt like Linehan had somehow managed to tap into the headsets!

This is the offense I feared — one that adds something like motion but then runs the same stale, predictable game plan believing that motion is enough of a change to make a difference.

Obviously, there were turnovers and mistakes that derailed the offense as well, so I'm not going to panic over what we saw, but hopefully Kellen learns from this one because it was an ugly reminder of early last year.

Now on the field... hasn't looked as fast of late. Sure. My point is that you're attributing this in part, to things like hairstyle/nose rings and his off field personality. Wrong road to go down on several levels is all. Kamara looks like he could step in for one of the Migos but we don't really know him and he's obviously who he is at his profession.

It was an absolutely uninspired performance all around. I can’t think of one offensive player, save for La’el Collins who had what I feel was even a good game. And the play calling was the worst part of it all for me.

I said this about him catching the call in the flat. If you throw to Lamar’s in the flat or even Barkley they’ll get pass the first defender if it’s only one guy. One on one Zeke almost never makes that first defender miss. The first defender usually always make the tackle even if Zeke squeezes out a extra two yards

Let me ask you this.......When was the last time Zeke had under 75 yards rushing and we won.
Week 1 vrs the Gints this year.
Why are we 1-8 when Zeke has under 75 yards?
Ain't Zeke throwing the ball out there is it now?
Throw your blames elsewhere buddy as crazy here is starting to get old.

P.S. And one of the sole reasons the majority of our QB passes are completed our on PA passes is guess who the def fears......ZEKE!!!!!

The burst is gone.

He's too caught up with his raging party scene, nose rings, Q-tip hair, and feed-me showboating. His lifestyle is taking a fast toll on his athleticism.

He's still a very good back, but he is WAY behind Saquon, Kamara, and others at this point.

Pollard doesn't have Zeke's battering ram toughness, but he looks twice as fast.

Yeah, the burst is gone at 24. What a joke. The Whitehouse stuff the 90s Cowboys did was way worse than what we've heard from Zeke.

Many of you still cannot understand that he is not a twinkle toes runner. He has no wiggle; straight ahead is his game. If there is no blocking, he cannot create his own lanes.

Well, we kept banging our heads on a brick wall hoping for different results. The coaches seemed to believe, as Garrett always has, that execution was the problem. It might have been part of the problem, but when your solution is to keep running the same plays and expecting difference results, you're not recognizing the reality of the situation. Why not run some screens? Why not run a wheel route with Pollard or the fullback?

Even though New Orleans' flea-flicker didn't result in a long play, I give the Saints credit for at least trying to get their offense untracked. Our response to Lattimore's tight coverage on Cooper was to keep throwing it into the tight coverage and expecting those different results.

I'll say this, Zeke doesn't look explosive.

Powerful? Oh yeah, he's certainly strong, and he continues to move the pile forward upon contact.

But explosive? Shifty? Capable of making the big play?

I'm not seeing that.

Posted it another thread but in Zeke’s last 619 carries dating back to 2017, his longest run has been 41 yards (next longest is just 30 yards).

If you’re getting paid like the best RB in the league there needs to be a special element to your game that separates you from the run-of-the-mill running back; I need a guy getting paid like that to make a guy miss and break a long one every once in a while.

We’ve got the new Frank Gore.
