One of the things I’m not seeing talked about much is when the Saints would show blitz, Dak would audible, then the Saints wouldn’t come and Dallas would be in the wrong play. I feel like that happened a half dozen times.

That wasn't on Prescott it was on the crowd noise. It took longer to get the audible to everyone because of the noise and then the saints backed out of their pre-snap reads and it was then to late to change it.

So when you don’t execute you don’t think the game is called differently? If you run on first and get 3 yards you don’t think that dictates what you do the rest of the downs?

If you pick up 3 ,No it don't dictate, you still have the run or pass alive.

Jason Garrett needs to be told to keep his hands off the offence or fire him now. That was a JG game plan. I thought Jones gave full control of the O to Moore???

So frustrating, I hope Moore is throwing Garrett under the bus right now to Jerry.

..no way, Moore couldn't have declined in one game. JG probably had some say....

This game is on Moore , if you want the offense to execute terrible predictable play calling ,You get exposed .

Peyton GOT HIS team well coached, and THE D knew all the plays kellen was calling.

PUNT, PUNT, PUNT .

COACHING A TEAM, PREPARING THEM , ... THEY READ OUR FORMATIONS, KNEW WHAT WAS COMING .

LOL Moore was told by Garrett to keep the plays conservative. Blame Garrett not Moore.

Nah, you can’t give a pass to the Cowboys for something they knew was coming and had worked on all week. It’s a chess match. You don’t have to assume they are coming every time just because they show it pre snap.

I do think there should have been more RB screens, however in regards to the deep passes people have to understand that you need time for that. I really don't think Dak had enough time to sit back there and do that. Keep in mind one of the things he does is get rid of the ball quickly. Last season he would have been sacked a bunch in this game.

I'm telling ya, JG had to have some say in this game. We looked nothing like we did from weeks 1-3 play wise. We went from passing like crazy to running like Lineman. I feel like maybe the first 3 games were a test for KM, and though he did good, since he's only a rookie OC, JG possibly decided himself that this NO game would be too much for him to handle? Idk. This game didn't look right at all on offense.

Oh I see you know exactly what the defense was going to do for every snap. Why aren't you a DC for some team? The Cowboys go to the line and from the formation called and the play that was called Prescott see the defense in the correct defense to defend that play. It doesn't mean that the defense is going to blitz or it could mean that they are set to do a run blitz for the running played called or they are just lined up to stop that play. Either way Prescott audibles but because of the crowd noise he has to take a step or two to one side and give the audible to that side and then have to go to the other side and give them the audible and the formation changes and the defense changes to that formation but there's no time for correction because of the crowd noise. In the other 3 games Prescott didn't have any trouble doing audibles and then the defense changes and then Prescott changed it back to the original play and it worked. but he couldn't do that with that crowd noise. I'm not saying that the crowd noise is the only reason for the loss but it had a very big part in it. I also think that Moore stay way to long running Elliott between the tackles for 1 yard or losing a yard. I think Moore should done more RPO and took more advantage of Prescott's legs.

You blamed the noise. I said they worked on it all week so they can’t use it as an excuse. I never said I knew exactly what the defense was going to do every time. I’ll pass on further debate with you since that’s the tactic you are going to use.

One of the reasons why some Cowboys fans doubted the Kellen Moore OC hire was because the concern of him being too much like Linehan. Hopefully this Saints game when be a major learning experience for him and he'll have a lot more great play calling games than bad ones.

The boxes weren't really loaded. The Saints front 7 was just better. 2nd & 2 and you get stopped for a 1 yard loss vs a 7 man front. Story of game there...

+1
several fans are going to assume that since we couldn't run the ball with supposedly zeke and the vaunted OL, that it had to be loaded box and 8 man fronts.
but the saints were in Cover 2 in regards to their safeties. and all the more reasons why it was puzzling that we didn't attack their middle pass defense enough.
they've been vulnerable there all year long.
