I almost felt sorry for Garrett

It was largely because Switzer had planned to go to a more pass oriented offense rather than the typical OU running offense (or at least he told Aikman that), but Switzer backed out of that decision which left Aikman in a bad spot.

I miss the OU Wishbone, JC Watts, Billy Sims, Jamele Holloway, Jack Mildren, Charles Thiompson, David Overstreet, Spencer Tilllman, Greg Pruitt, etc. Brings back memories. Sorry for getting off subject.

What's with some fans giving Kellen all the credit when the cowboys win.. but Garrett all the blame when the cowboys lose?

Turnovers and we played a good team.. should be able to bounce back

You mean like the throws downfield to Witten and Jarwin? You think those came from Garrett?

Besides, how do you know Moore didn't tailor a different game plan to this opponent? Or, how do you know Moore didn't call plays differently based on the opposing defense getting more pressure on the QB than in previous games? And how would your viewpoint be different if the running game was more successful? Does Moore call the runs where Zeke runs for 8-12 yards, and Garrett calls the runs that go for 1-2 yards?

The most likely thing is Moore was in charge of the game plan just as he had been the first 3 games, but the Saints played much better defense than we had faced the first 3 games, and we (Moore, Dak, the O-Line, Zeke …) didn't handle it as well.

The Saints loaded the box trying to stop the run. Our only touchdown came down the seems on play action. Why did we abandon play action and throwing it down the seams again while the Saints was playing the run?

Its commonsense football which Garrett doesn't seem to have.

You couldn’t tell we were running Garrett’s garbage offense last night? It appeared that Kellen was neutered, not Garrett...
Garrett obviously played the card of:
" I know how to beat this team, Kellen! Just like I did last time we played em', watch& learn some, kid"

He looked like a neutered cat on the sideline. Every time they showed him, he had a blank look on his face. I guess Jerry has taken all of his authority. He wore a headset, but I never saw him talking to anyone. He yelled at the refs a couple of times, that about all I saw him do. It would be nice to have a real head coach that can take over a game when he needs to.
I disagree. There is audio that shows Garrett yelling to run the ball. I think he made Moore run a simple gameplan like we used last season. Hopefully Garrett has less input in play calling.

I do agree that it would be nice to have a HC that can...... You know....out coach the other team

Moore is the OC. He didn’t stop being OC for this game. I’m amazed people expected there to be no bumps in the road along the way.

Not a problem. Those were fun offenses to watch.

I see the same thing and even went further than that in the off season, I am not sure he doesn't want out.

Any man can take a bullet for someone else for just so long and Booger had no problem with Owens calling Garrett out when he was OC and no problem sending the message Moore can come to him if he has any resisitance.

Coach isn't blaming him but plenty are and he got 0 credit for the 3-0 start. That was all Moore.

If I am Garrett, I am looking at all of the openings coming up after this season beginning with WAS.

I would absolutely love to see Garrett go to Washington. The Skins would be held back for another 10 years just like JG has done to Dallas. Better yet, send him to Philly or New England after Billy B. hangs it up. Boston would go up in flames after going from the most dominant franchise in history to a door mat in a matter of 1 or 2 seasons.

My question is, who kidnapped Kellen Moore and replaced him with Scott Linehan?

The offense played the entire game not to lose, but here we are...

Dak struggled.

He didn't take advantage of the 8 man fronts the Saints were using to stop Zeke. We want teams to overload to stop Zeke. This opens up the passing game. For some QBs.

Dak seemed to change the plays at the line...a lot.

Our DEs kept biting on the run options. No containment. Quinn was the worst offender.

Our DTs kept getting pushed around. Dallas still cant stop A gap runs.

We didnt blitz a lot. again. BBDB kept the Saints out of the end zone, but that a lot of game clock.
