I realize it's easy to point fingers at the coaches here, but this game was going to be tough no matter what and these players need to not cough up the football on critical drives and Randall Cobb needs to catch a touchdown pass that hits him directly in the hands, regardless of how poorly it may be thrown.

The entire outcome of this game would have been different if none of the above occurred.

Maybe if we had a better game plan the game doesn't come down to one or two plays. We should of gotten 20 on this team and only got half. Lets just be honest. Garrett was out coached. Out schemed. Out smarted by Payton.

It's a conspiracy to say this was Garrett's fault but i'll buy into it because that gameplan was the opposite of what we have seen for 3 weeks and exactly what we saw the previous 4 years.

Going into a shell and not attacking a defenses weakness is a Jason Garrett thing to do.

Payton ran circles around our clown. This should inspire a lot of ridiculous comments protecting Garrett........oh, we can't blame him......what about when he wins........and on and on and on.

Sean Payton developed a gameplan that masterfully masked their coverages on defense and an offensive gameplan that emphasized his quarterback's strengths. Our coach went into a conservative shell I'm guessing b/c he was intimidated by the environment and he figured it wouldn't take much on offense to defeat a backup QB.

We're always going to be behind the eight ball when the matchup is Garrett vs elite coaches. This is why I have zero confidence in this team ever making a deep run in the playoffs with him at the helm.

I totally agree. I can't fairly judge the coaching because the execution was poor at best on both sides of the ball. Now if you want to blame the coaching for not having the players mentally and emotionally prepared then I'm with you, but these are grown men paid to do a job as well.

The execution was bad but the gameplan was worse.

With that gameplan we had to play perfect. If we attacked the Saints Defense through the air we might have made more mistakes but scored more points in the process.

I'd rather play to win then not to lose against a team we should've beat.

Anyone who has watched all 4 games this year and has any common sense knows what is happening in Dallas. Garrett has supposedly systematically had all his control over the offense taken way over the years. He see's Moore, with a new approach, light it up in week 1 and get nothing but love from the entire NFL community. As he sits there with no contract and no control, he must have been livid behind the scenes. Since that 1st week, we have seen the offense morph back into Garrett's old predictable pedestrian offense that doesn't suit Dak and doesn't inspire the players to achieve. The only explanation is that Garrett has wrestled back control of the offensive gameplanning and hung Moore out to dry by removing all the new stuff and going back to last year's offense. I don't blame Moore at all. He had a play sheet that he had to stick to and no one will convince me that play sheet contained his preferred plays. They were nowhere to be seen and that has to be Garrett's doing. Jones does not appear to be asking the appropriate question. If I was him, I'd have Moore in my office alone and point blank asked him if that gameplan came from him or Garrett. If he said it was his, he'd have a crap ton of explaining to do on why it looked like last year's crap instead of week 1's brilliance. If he said it was Garrett's, he'd be next in my office and would clearly be told to stay out of the offensive game planning and let Moore run his offense. If he meddled again he would be fired on the spot.

"9 years with Jason Garrett, tell me the game you felt he made a difference."

Good point.
I’d ask anyone to answer this.

I’ve said it many times. He doesn’t appear to “coach” or really talk to anyone during the game. They answer that he manages and does other things.

I’d argue we need more to get over the hump. As Colin says how does he make a difference?

Is he a hindrance? Dunno

Is he a plus? I’m pretty sure he’s not. He just doesn’t know x’s and o’s like better coaches do.

Players didn't execute either.

The best line, or a top 3 line, didn't win the battle at the LOS.

Now, I think the playcalling could of been better too, but it's not like the team was playing lights out and Garrett iced his own kicker again or used the timeouts prematurely.

I'm all for a new staff, but I mean I can't squarely blame this on Garrett.

6 min mark. Anybody disagree with what he's saying?

I don't know who is responsible.

But I still haven't heard it said about the final two minutes: When we are trying to get in field goal range and are out of timeouts. Then remember just one thing, the white on the sideline is your friend. You get the ball to anyone near the sideline and step out. It stops the clock!

Don't keep throwing down the middle of the field.

Maybe whoever called that game stayed out too late partying.

I don't disagree, but the coaching was not the main reason we lost. Parcells said if you turn the ball over, you will lose the game. Aaron Rodgers threw the ball well last week but lost because he lost the turnover battle. It's that simple.
