It might have more to do with how the defenses scheme us.

I’d imagine all teams attempt to stop or slow Elliott but not all are successful. The ones that are have an 8-1 record when holding Elliott under 75 yards.
Meh. If the Oline was better coached, they would perform better against better defenses.

No, they can’t. It’s about promoting their product. So sad. It’s our greatest obstacle to overcome...Our ownership.
Jerry is doing his job as a successful businessman, the best in the NFL at that. It's all about making money.

BREAKING: Stephen Jones says Cowboys goal is to sign Dak Prescott - this weekend!

FRISCO - I have suggested for months that the Dallas Cowboys would sign QB Dak Prescott before their Week 1 game. Having gone out on that limb, I've opted to remain there, even this week sticking my prediction. Here it is Friday ... and Cowboys COO Stephen Jones seems to be willing to crawl out there on the limb with me.

“We’re still holding out hope that we can figure out how to come up with a deal by the game on Sunday,'' said Jones on 105.3 The Fan on Friday at about 3:30 p.m.

So ... that gives both sides literally a matter of hours, as Sunday's game kicks off at 3:25 p.m. at AT&T Stadium.

Was really hoping the teams goal was to beat the Packers at home

Yep but unfortunately the only business at hand for fans is Cowboys Football. His intent to be everything Cowboys is hindering our football team.

I’ve tried to include in my Wall Street portfolio the sponsors of the Cowboys to benefit financially but I’m still emotionally invested in the football team not the Cowboys bottom line.

There again coaching isn’t a priority of our ownership. We are and have been a talent dependent team on the most part. If we’re looking for coaching to put us over the top, we are screwed.

We all know the intention is to sign Dak long term and while we can definitely debate his value and what we believe he should or shouldn't get, its anyone's guess until something actually gets done on paper. I'd like to not handicap the teams salary cap moving forward but the reality is the only choice we have is to hope the front office and manipulate the numbers enough to keep us competitive.

You give yourself a bit too much credit here.

Your post isn't mediocre. It is well below average.

How clever, did it take long to formulate?

The Dakbots anger is delicious...but not as good as Dakotas Chunky Sirloin.. MMgood

ATTENTION: THIS IS PHONY “NEWS”.

THIS IS OLD NEWS WITH OLD QUOTES FROM, FROM SEPTEMBER 6th.

That quote from Stephen is the EXACT same as his quote from September 6th.

https://1053thefan.radio.com/articles/news/cowboys-hoping-get-dak-prescott-extension-done-sunday

Another obvious clue that this was originally written prior to our Week 1 game:

He mentions in the 1st paragraph that he predicted a deal would get done prior to Week 1. He then says he’s “sticking with his prediction” (even though his prediction turned out to be WRONG) and that Stephen is going out on the limb with him.

Then after Stephen’s quote:

“So ... that gives both sides literally a matter of hours, as Sunday's game kicks off at 3:25 p.m. at AT&T Stadium.”

Either SI.com or Mike Fisher himself need to be better. This is embarrassing.

I suggest you watch a Chiefs game and watch Mahomes do it 8 times a game. Yippy Ky yay

How low can the bar be lowered for routine plays?
Where did I say Dak is Mahomes? I suggest you learn how to comprehend
