Everyone knows it except our GM.....I think after further review. He knows it also but to stubborn to move on.

Garrett is coaching for his job, Moore or Richard will be the HC next year after Garrett fails yet again in the play-offs.

I don't know why this is so hard to grasp. Dallas lost by 2 points. You could name 30 to 50 different things that could have changed the outcome of the game. Personally, I think that Garrett being outcoached was a strong contributor to the loss but its just one of many.

But I reserve a special place for coaching failures, particularly on strategic issues. Coaching failures are a much greater sign of incompetence than execution failures. You have 1 job. All you have to do is think the right thing under zero duress and zero time pressure. If you can't do that, you're unfit for purpose.

The Saints loss felt a lot worse than it really is. In terms of EPA, the Boys still sit at No. 2 in the NFL behind only the PATS.

In a pleasant turnaround from last year’s results, the percentage of plays inside the red zone that hit pay dirt for our Boys has been incredibly high. There are many more positives for the Boys than negatives through a month of play.

Had we won, this thread wouldn't even exist, and the Moore love would be overwhelmed yet once again on the Zone.

I'm not saying he completely took over the playcalling but it had much more influence than the first three games that looked very much like the same predictablefailed Garrett/linehan playcalling we have all watched fail for years.

Anyone who has watched all 4 games this year and has any common sense knows what is happening in Dallas. Garrett has supposedly systematically had all his control over the offense taken way over the years. He see's Moore, with a new approach, light it up in week 1 and get nothing but love from the entire NFL community. As he sits there with no contract and no control, he must have been livid behind the scenes. Since that 1st week, we have seen the offense morph back into Garrett's old predictable pedestrian offense that doesn't suit Dak and doesn't inspire the players to achieve. The only explanation is that Garrett has wrestled back control of the offensive gameplanning and hung Moore out to dry by removing all the new stuff and going back to last year's offense. I don't blame Moore at all. He had a play sheet that he had to stick to and no one will convince me that play sheet contained his preferred plays. They were nowhere to be seen and that has to be Garrett's doing. Jones does not appear to be asking the appropriate question. If I was him, I'd have Moore in my office alone and point blank asked him if that gameplan came from him or Garrett. If he said it was his, he'd have a crap ton of explaining to do on why it looked like last year's crap instead of week 1's brilliance. If he said it was Garrett's, he'd be next in my office and would clearly be told to stay out of the offensive game planning and let Moore run his offense. If he meddled again he would be fired on the spot.

JJones have given JG too many chances. Therein lies the problem.

In a normal org, the HC is responsible. However, in this clusterfudge, I guess it has to go to the GM.

Jason is not a very good football coach and won't be back IMO unless we win the NFC champ game. He was the perfect interim coach (8 years) while we changed how we operated and fixed the cap, took a very long time. He may have had higher hopes in the beginning but at some point Jerry said why change now when we're not competitive with the cap and talent on the team..so Jason stayed.

We need a real coach now, Jerry knows it

Maybe if we had a better game plan the game doesn't come down to one or two plays. We should of gotten 20 on this team and only got half. Lets just be honest. Garrett was out coached. Out schemed. Out smarted by Payton.
You look around the league at teams the Saints play and they don't hold teams to 10 points but when they do against us folks want to say it was just tough..... No, it's the coaching. Garrett coached scared and used a conservative Linehan game plan

Andy Reid who has never won a super bowl.... Is it Mcvays fault theybkost to the bucs and the seahawks? This was an away game against one of the best teams in the NFC.

Garrett cant be compared to Bellicheck, but to squarely put this loss on Garrett is dumb.
