Dak is a Bust!
Hate it love it he simply is not a franchise-caliber QB.No reason to waste another season waiting for this young man to develop he simply does not have the God-given talent and NEVER will.

Mark my words by seasons end Dak will be run out of dodge along with Jason and no new head coach will want Dak as his doom is guaranteed having inept Dak running his offense.

All our issues start and end with our lack of scoring and being lopsided on offense.

Haven't you wondered why Jerry hasn't caved in and given him a new contract?
Not even Jerry is that bad of a GM and man he's pretty much the worse GM in the NFL.

Let me know what your viable solution is.

Because I know we disagree on Prescott. That’s fine.

Every time I ask you for a viable solution that also RECOGNIZES the risk associated with moving on from the QB. I get zero realistic answers from you or anyone else.

This dude has nothing. He just gets off on trolling cowboys fans. Imagine what a loser in life one needs to be to get off trolling fans of your favorite team. It’s actually kind of sad in a way.

The truth is. Getting an elite prospect at QB means either tanking and throwing a season down the drain.

Or it means trading away massive draft capital to trade up into a spot to take one.

Then it’s at best a 30% chance he is as good as Dak and 20% chance he is better than Dak.

But not many want to admit that reality of the QB position in the NFL.

The irony is that Dak is trying to play QB like Jon Kitna instead of Aaron Rodgers. Dak is very mobile but he doesn't use it to his advantage to buy time. Its as if someone told him that the pocket is this spot you plant your feet and wait for someone to break open. Aaron Rodgers no longer has a gun for an arm. He had a very mediocre wr core today. Rookies on the OL. But, he's still great b/c he senses pressure and moves the pocket accordingly. Dak seems to have no sense of pressure and panics when he has to move outside the pocket.

This isn’t an answer. It’s pure nonsense.

There are no good QB’s to shop in free agency.

And unless you have a top 10 pick any QB you draft will almost certainly not be as good as Dak. Less than 20% chance of drafting a QB as good as Dak beyond pick #10.

So again. Who you gonna target? How many picks you giving up to get them Pappy.

Answer the question or stop the nonsense already.

There is no viable solution except to draft another QB this coming draft and hope you hit. I would also not have any issue keeping Dak for one more season next year and franchising for one year him while drafting that QB. If Dak was good enough to take over from Romo as a Rookie then why can't another rookie QB take over from Dak?

You’re right.

I just want him to admit the reality that the cowboys could very well draft a QB in the first round and they end up being no better or even worse than Dak.

That’s a very likely possibility he refuses to admit.

If the cowboys let Dak walk and drafted a first round QB. I would be rooting my butt off for the new QB. But it’s far from a sure thing it would be the right move.

Every true Dallas Cowboys Fan stop responding to these types of post, there's an agenda going on... Let's ignore these trolls and stick with this team and focus on the Jets and the Eagles... We will be 5-2 going into the bye... Lets keep it positive

One team today used a first-round pick on a quarterback and a fifth round pick of a running back.
One used a top 5 pick on a running back and a fourth round pick on a quarterback.

See the difference.
