We mock, and rightfully so, that Garrett is almost robotic on the sidelines. He is someone who keeps his cool probably a little too well. It's impressive that the refs got under his skin the way they did, and they seem to be interfering with the game more and more and more each season.

By the way, I'm not just saying this was against Dallas - I thought the late penalty on Green Bay today was BS as well. I had the same reaction when McCarthy was chasing the ref down the sideline last year. It's already hard enough to win in this league, but penalties are out of control.

What Garrett did was inexcusable for a head coach, the first challenge was bad enough in stupidity but to lose his composure and foul mouth a official show his ineptitude as a head coach this far into his career, lets face it the guy holds his job because he Jerry's yes man not for any coaching ability.

This is the worst coach I've ever seen. As far as having discipline on a football team

That's the best thing I've ever seen him do. Was throw the flag at the referee. I didn't think he had any Moxie whatsoever

He was asked if the flag was for spiking the challenge. He said in his presser the reason he got the flag was he was out of challenges and he had to clear up this play. His only choice was to throw the challenge and take the penalty (for challenging without a challenge). He did. And we went down and scored.
if he said that he's even worse a head coach and a liar than most think, the play was reviewed (under challenge) and the call reversed and Dallas kept their time out and Garrett got a 15 yard penalty against him.

I think he knows this season is slipping away and his meal ticket here will go with it. And he lashed out. He knows no other team will even think about hiring him as a HC.
I disagree....I think Garrett will be hired immediately. And I don't THINK he should....but I BELIEVE he will!

You wouldn't be the first coach to pull the flag when he knew we didn't have any challenges left. That's not why I don't like him. That would be one reason why I actually do like him

And yet the Colts don’t have a Zeke, an All Pro Oline etc. It’s context. And excuses are plenty
Weird because their O line did a damn good job in pass protection and they ran the literal crap out of the ball.

The point is he wasn't out of challenges it's plain BS on his part, he lost his cool and was penalized for some comment he made to official nothing at all to do with the actual challenge. He had a hissy fit because he lost his first stupid challenge and lost his cool on the second . I don't know what good anyone can see in JG as a HC.

I understand exactly what your point was turn he's not the only coach that ever did that. I thought it was actually intelligent you finally showed some moxie. Do you even understand what happened. And I'm not sticking up for him because I want him gone. That was the best thing I've ever seen him do to demand a little respect on the sidelines

I fully understand what happened and it's not what poster said JG said happened, JG threw the challenge flag on the no catch call, he said something to the official that drew a flag, the call was reversed to a catch and then 15 yards was penalized, the 15 yards wasn't moxie it was stupidity on the HC. JG could not coach his way out of a open paper bag. Want to know why the DC have so many penalties, just look at the HC.

I’m not saying that’s not what he said. I’m just saying he was not out of challenges at that point. He was mistaken in saying it. He had only used one. That’s just a fact unless he used one they didn’t show or talk about at all.
You are correct. In fact, they reviewed the play and overturned the call on the field.

It's funny that the same fans complaining that he just stands there and doesn't do anything are complaining that he got pissed and showed some emotion.

I actually thought it was warranted and the team responded to the adversity.

Nope. It was justifiable.

Again, it was justified. We still scored on that drive.

Lol, yea otherwise we would have had to find another way to get the 15 yard penalty.
