Can we as Dallas fans finally tell the truth

Wrong. We have 8-8 coaching

No doubt, coaching is terrible but even deeper is a clear dysfunction. I think there’s talent here, but it takes a lot of things. Takes much more than a quality draft or just having talent. Every team has some. It’s the NFL. Doesn’t make you a good ‘team’. This 13 year mess of an experiment is a huge systematic problem. The front office never wakes up.

the coaching has always been the issue

This roster is good enough to win a super bowl but they are often times put in wrong positions or the gameplan is complete trash

Coaching is 8 - 8.
Talent is 10 - 6
Drafting is 12-4.

Play on field - 9-7.

We can't beat a very good QB with minimal talent on their side.

I like Moore and definitely think he could be very good coach. But how can anyone not expect a learning curve?! Blaming him after 5 games? lol The newest reason the team looks like crap?! The fact that this is the 2nd time they did this on an offense ready to take off, it really speaks volumes about this front office. The management here is truly baffling. Smart decisions continue to elude them.

Most us can see the truth, but can JJ?
:muttley:
I think we all know the answer is NO. We have seen this too many times. They are going to go to New York next week and probably beat the snot out of them. I even think they match up well against the Eagles with the issues their defense has in coverage. In fact, it’s not impossible for them to go on a five game run against the Jets, Eagles, Giants, Vikings and Lions. That would put them at 8-2 and feeling like world beaters. Until they run into the Pats...then the house of cards falls AGAIN, the excuses fly AGAIN and the process continues AGAIN!

I agree with most of that, but nyg looks better with Jones at QB. So, they may no longer be an easy win. From here on out, no game should be an easy game.

And guys the truth is that we will NEVER be a great team again until Jerry Jones dies or Jerry Jones quits. Since Jimmy has left what has the Dallas Cowboys done for the last 20 years? Fans who hate on Dak. What has Dak done or hasn't done that Tony Romo did or didn't do? What has Zeke did that Murray didn't do? What has the defense did that the defense hasn't done in the past? What I'm trying to say is we as Dallas Cowboy fans have seen this horror show over and over for the last 20 year's. The only true constant has been Jerry Jones.

Jerry continues to sink the Dallas Cowboys. From after game interviews to making the Dallas stadium a spectacle. Jerry continues to be a JOKE in my opinion. He keeps an average coach for nearly 10 years. Yet even Washington has woken and fired Gruden. Jerry continues to pour money into an over rated Oline. I give him credit for not over paying Dak but what is his plan "B"? to replace Dak.? Some fans whine about Dak but remember how bad this team was before Dak came. I mean Dak retired some fans hero in Tony Romo. And as stated earlier. Romo faired no better then Dak. And that's on Garrett. Who should of been gone years ago. But who keeps Garrett here? Jerry Jones
.
Back to Jerry. He continues to not build a defense in a way that can help us become dominate. No big DT hire or draft worth a darn. He continues to think a great safety is a luxury versus a necessity. Bad drafting as in Taco and a few others. I think LVE is over rated. Jaylon disappears at times. So you may say maybe it's the DC? Well who has first hired and not fired Rod M? Jerry! So I look at my other teams. Ohio State had to move on from Meyers and so far so good. The Lakers had to move on from Phil, Magic and lost Dr. Buss. Took a while but seem to be now going into the right direction. So in short until Jones is gone with the environment he brings around this team. We're probably gonna see this horror movie over and over and over again. We need change at the top. If the top stinks? So will the middle and bottom. And NO. I'm not going to another team. But I will continue to post the truth. I like Jerry as a person. But as a GM. He brings nothing to the plate. Jerry helped us get 3 SB's and I thank him for that. But like a drought ridden Island. Jerry has been like a hurricane. He stopped the drought yet destroyed the Island in the process.

Cliff notes: Fish stinks from the head... and yes many of us have been saying this for YEARS.

Sad part is even after Jerry, comes his son Steven, then after that his grandson ect ect ect....

At least if we hired a GM - if he doesn't produce results, he can get fired. The way the Jones have it set up is that they are GMs for life.

This team would thrive if Jerry were someone named Tex, and Garrett was someone named Landry or Johnson. My bad, my mind longs for a time of relevancy.

The last 2 weeks we have lost the turnover battle 6-1.

That is why we are losing.

Fix the execution problem and we will start winning again. Its that simple.

Every single time we lose and game we don't have to cry about 1996.

Yes, because if Tex were here then we wouldn't have thrown 3 ints yesterday.

Look guys, we all have opinions as diehard fans, but we should be able to all agree on one thing here.

Before we dissect LVE's decline, Kellen (the beaver) Moore's play calling, Dak's untimely interceptions, ETC ETC ETC, we really
need to look at the one common denominator that has been here through it all over the last decade.

I feel like I'm parroting myself here because I said the same thing last year but it ultimately does indeed start and end with Jason Garrett.
It's silly to sit around and try to make sense of our team and it's pitfalls when we have a coach whom has proven time and time again
he gives us zero advantages come game day.

At this point it's becoming silly! Jason needed to be gone many many years ago and at this point we're all just numb to the fact we feel stuck with him.
It all starts with our head coach at this point in time, and he has been failing for a long time now. We can't keep pointing to interceptions, bad calls!
The cowboys head football coach is not part of the solution in helping improve our team, he has shown us this year in and year out.

Well it starts with Jerry Jones but since he's not leaving it falls to Jason Garrett. We are just never going to go anywhere we want to go with him as HC. 10 years and 2 playoff wins.
