Can we as Dallas fans finally tell the truth

Not a Cowherd fan but he nailed it with JG after last weeks game. He said the Cowboys have superior talent on the field. They have good coaches in Marinelli, Richard and even Moore based on performance to date. Then he asked, where would JG rank among coaches in the NFL with the same amount of experience? Or even half the experience? The truth is Garrett is a very average to mediocre HC. He is what holds this team back but he is there because Jerry wants someone like him. I agree, Jerry needs to go before this team wins again. He is a great owner but a lousy general manager. He is too loyal at times and to stubborn at other times. Every week, every year we see this team do the same things to lose games for the same reasons. There is a flaw in the Jones philosophy of team building and this is why they have not won a championship or even an NFC championship in so long.

Coaching is 8 - 8.
Talent is 10 - 6
Drafting is 12-4.

Play on field - 9-7.

We can't beat a very good QB with minimal talent on their side.

The last two weeks they have come out totally unprepared and sort of have a deer in the headlights look coming out. One plus is there seems to be some adjustments on the offensive side of the ball. The defense however not so much. Keep doing the same thing get the same results. Can't stop RB's running up the gut. No pressure on the QB and cannot create turnovers of any kind. I won't even talk about Special Teams since I cannot remember the last time the Cowboys Special Teams actually score a TD.

Idk stephen strikes me as more sensible. Stephen makes the occasional comment, but he doesn't seem as attention seeking as his father. I think he would hire a GM. Although who knows.

All i know is Jerry better change because he isn't gonna win anything before he dies.
I think that is only because he doesn't want to throw any shade on his old man while he dominates the NFL with his presence. See any owner get as many shots from the network as he does or the media refer to Gillette as Bobby's World of the Linc as Jeff's World? See any other owner or GM make injury announcements? Any GM have his own, required of the flagship radio station, show? Hell, this peacock even forced them to give his son his own show.

Many think this is about football and it's only remotely about football. This is all about being a celebrity, showing off and making sure people know how much his toys cost. He will never step aside, that would kill him. He'll have to die in place. And then we get the lucky sperm who would have never seen the inside of a NFL team without his old man.

Well it starts with Jerry Jones but since he's not leaving it falls to Jason Garrett. We are just never going to go anywhere we want to go with him as HC. 10 years and 2 playoff wins.

Jerry Jones isn't going anywhere as you said so we can only really focus on the job the head coach does year in and year out and that is the problem. There isn't another team in the league that would of kept Garrett around as long as Jerry has and that is quite telling. The frustrating part of all of this for the fans is that we keep getting the same outcome year after year and the franchise at this point is selling us defective goods knowingly.

I don't know about you, but as invested as I am, last nights game was about as sick as I've been in a long time with the Cowboys. There is no way in hell I expected them to lay eggs against two teams they should of been competitive with. The ups and downs are not healthy not only for our team but for our fans! This has gone on too long with Garrett and at this point it's a sick joke.

Penalties and turnovers. Something great coaches wouldn’t put up with. By the way, scouting report on beating Dallas is to run the ball.

Yes, because if Tex were here then we wouldn't have thrown 3 ints yesterday.

Interceptions are a small fraction of the problem that is the Dallas Cowboys. A top down fix is needed, but good luck on the cherry pick.

The problem for the last 2 games has been turnovers.

We have lost the TO battle 6-1 in the last two games. You lose more than 3/4ths of your games in the NFL when you lose the TO battle.

That's why we have lost the last 2 weeks. Its been an execution problem.

This is much more than execution. Offense is turning it over and the D doesn't get any. That's a problem.

They don't have 8-8 talent. Our head coach just doesn't do anything. You cant have Jason, Rod, and Richards all getting out coached. This dumpsterfire Defensive scheme is laughable.
They have 2 quality DEs, 2 LBs, and maybe 1 corner. The rest of the D starters are backup quality . They have terrible special teams and kicking. the offensive line, while decent, is horribly overrated and overpaid, as is the 100 million dollar RB. Oh, and about that franchise QB they are getting ready to pay 40 million......

This team is the epitome of 8-8 talent.

And guys the truth is that we will NEVER be a great team again until Jerry Jones dies or Jerry Jones quits. Since Jimmy has left what has the Dallas Cowboys done for the last 20 years? Fans who hate on Dak. What has Dak done or hasn't done that Tony Romo did or didn't do? What has Zeke did that Murray didn't do? What has the defense did that the defense hasn't done in the past? What I'm trying to say is we as Dallas Cowboy fans have seen this horror show over and over for the last 20 year's. The only true constant has been Jerry Jones.

Jerry continues to sink the Dallas Cowboys. From after game interviews to making the Dallas stadium a spectacle. Jerry continues to be a JOKE in my opinion. He keeps an average coach for nearly 10 years. Yet even Washington has woken and fired Gruden. Jerry continues to pour money into an over rated Oline. I give him credit for not over paying Dak but what is his plan "B"? to replace Dak.? Some fans whine about Dak but remember how bad this team was before Dak came. I mean Dak retired some fans hero in Tony Romo. And as stated earlier. Romo faired no better then Dak. And that's on Garrett. Who should of been gone years ago. But who keeps Garrett here? Jerry Jones
.
Back to Jerry. He continues to not build a defense in a way that can help us become dominate. No big DT hire or draft worth a darn. He continues to think a great safety is a luxury versus a necessity. Bad drafting as in Taco and a few others. I think LVE is over rated. Jaylon disappears at times. So you may say maybe it's the DC? Well who has first hired and not fired Rod M? Jerry! So I look at my other teams. Ohio State had to move on from Meyers and so far so good. The Lakers had to move on from Phil, Magic and lost Dr. Buss. Took a while but seem to be now going into the right direction. So in short until Jones is gone with the environment he brings around this team. We're probably gonna see this horror movie over and over and over again. We need change at the top. If the top stinks? So will the middle and bottom. And NO. I'm not going to another team. But I will continue to post the truth. I like Jerry as a person. But as a GM. He brings nothing to the plate. Jerry helped us get 3 SB's and I thank him for that. But like a drought ridden Island. Jerry has been like a hurricane. He stopped the drought yet destroyed the Island in the process.
I'm sorry I'm not even going to read the article your post. Because you're talking about whose truth and individuals. That's still an opinion

The talent is waaaay overrated, but you can win with it. THere are no generational talents or best player in the league types maybe aside from Martin, but he is breaking down. They are good enough to win

This forum is amusing. We were All World at 3-0. Now can feed us to the dogs at 3-2.

These fans can’t represent our fan base. If so I might be about done here. Pitiful

Exactly. There ain’t 5 teams with a better roster. We would be 5-0 with a legitimate HC
I dont see how you say that. Philly, GB, Rams, Sea, NO, NE, KC, are easily as good if not better. LAC have as good of a roster but they have always been dallas west. Indy also has a very good roster and have really dealt with true adversity.

Let the Jet game be close and all hell will break loose. I love the cowboys but the worse thing about loving them so much is other cowboy fans. Now I never noticed near as much until the internet but of course they haven't been like this until the internet.

Execution is a product of practice. Coaches are in charge of practice.
