I had this as a kid in elementary school. As if this wasn't telling of my future favorite TV show.

The funny thing is, I never actually saw the original movie until probably the 2000s. I saw all the others well before watching the original movie.

I had a Stretch Armstrong too. I also had Evel Knievel motorcycle that you could jump things with.

The Operation game.

We also had the Jaws game where you had to fish crap out of his mouth similar to Operation.

I actually had that Evel Knievel toy too. I think it lasted three days. Toys weren't made very well back then, with the exception of Tonka.

I used to have one of those large Tanka dump trucks. Years later when I was like 16 or something. I took a bat to it and beat it all to hell, but the damn thing still worked except where I smashed the sheet metal into the wheels hehe

Awesome thread!!

I've recently been ebaying for all my favorites so my son can enjoy them as much as I did.

Just recently got a Vintage 1979 Tomy Pinball Atomic Arcade Game.

Next up is 1981 Ideal Dukes of Hazzard Electric Slot Racing Set.

Last will be the Vintage 1983 Crossbows and Catapults Battle Game.

Sorry, not good with pics

Funny story about me and my Evel Knievel stunt cycle...…….
One afternoon I thought it would be cool to try and make the cycle go under a vans wheels that was going down the road in front of my house. I release the toy at what I thought was the perfect moment which actually was a bit premature and it went slightly ahead of the van, the man driving slammed on the brakes with his young boy kinda hitting the dashboard. The man was understandably pissed, he got out and literally whipped my butt. Then knocked on the door and told my dad what had happened and what he did to me, my dad was in agreeance and said good he deserved it

Also had a ton of GI Joe's as well as an extensive collection of 1/72 scale military figurines and a nice Estes model rocket/s collection. Good times indeed.

OMG I forgot about these. Used to love mine.
Bonus points if you ever got whipped with one of the plastic things that you pulled threw it or a section of hot wheels track:laugh:
Been whipped with the Hot Wheels track. Makes a leather belt feel like a feather pillow.

Also had a burning piece of the track drip onto my hand. You can still see the scar.

This was one of my very favorite action figures - Pulsar - press his back and see his heart and lungs beat and see his blood flow through his upper body torso ...a way of increasing strength, endurance, resistance to injury, etc.

Voltron. He used to break into five different lions.

I also had tons of Legos, Star Wars, and Transformers.

For a very brief period of time, I had several He-Man things too. For whatever reason, my interest in that didn't last very long.

yep, this was an ultimate hand toy figure to have - VOLTRON and TRANSFORMERS
