He gets hate because he resorted to extortion to get paid and put his surgery off in the process. Now that he’s massively overpaid he’s minimally performing. I hater JJ immensely for paying 90 and 21 what he did when common sense was saying let them sit and rot or walk.

You want the big money, you get the big noise when you don’t play like a top 5. It’s his fault he didn’t come into this season healthier.

I wanted to wait and pay him then I was ok with paying him because I wanted Dallas to have a defense for once. The whole defense besides heath has regressed its unbelievable really.

You have to based contracts on future projections and not solely on past production. Yeah they earned that guaranteed money but they still have to go out and earn the rest of the contract or risk being released as soon as fiscally (regarding cap) possible.

Most would agree they were deserving of the contracts they got at the time of signing. HOWEVER, they still have to produce to validate that pay going forward.
