Although their O-line’s a sieve, Sam Darnold’s back, they still have Le’Veon Bell at RB and their D played pretty well against Philly, only allowing 17pts (their offense gave up the other 14).

Perfect trap game for a confused team which might be (?) expecting a relatively easy game after two bad losses.

Cowboys win by at least 2 scores. Darnold will be rusty and Bell is not the same back he was...hasn’t appeared to be anyway.

Agreed. This team needs to get off their high horse. They’re barely better than the Commanders at this point. If they don’t take this Jets team seriously, they legit might get blown out.

The line is now down under a TD in some places. Doesn't sound like a game you just show up to and win like our first game.

I don’t see the Jets as a pushover, maybe for the pats but not us.
We keep turning the ball over and we will have trouble beating the skins a second time.
We just aren’t good, strong, and mentally tough enough to overcome mistakes.
Which is why we aren’t going anywhere again this year. Prob another one and done.

Exactly. I'm worried about that. We are terrible against the run, and the Jets have nothing to lose. You can bet that they'd love nothing more than to beat us and rub it in on us. We have to be ready for a fight and not take it easy.

Having said that, they also have a shaky o-line that has hindered Le'Veon Bell. If the Cowboys stuff the run for a change, they can make life miserable for Darnold since Lawrence and Quinn should get a ton of pressure.

Sam Darnold is not anywhere close to legit. He is bad. He is an upgrade to whatever junk they threw out when he went out but he's still bad.

One thing we can do this week is load up on the run. although not sure that means much since we are poor at it. We could not load up on that against Rodgers.

I think this will go the way of the Miami game. Closer than comfort at half but we pull away. It would be nice if we could get some defensive plays like the Eagles did against the Jets but I doubt it.

Agreed. We have to take them seriously.

Also, on a sidenote, i know the punter for the Jets. He went to my university, and I talked with him quite a few times at the university. Good chap. Hopefully, I get to see him on the field punting a lot.

If this team hasn't gotten off its high horse after getting taken to the cleaners by the Packers, then we deserve to miss the playoffs and we need new a bloody coach. Then again, we've needed that for a while.

No. This game couldn't come at a worse time. Not only does Dallas have to win, it's expected. If Dallas loses to Philly after that they maintain an 8-8 pace. Dallas can overcome mistakes against the Jets, Washington, and Miami. Much tougher against tougher teams. The Eagles defense causes mistakes. It's about time the Cowboys did the same.
