I wanna fire Garrett as much as anyone dude but who else would you hire in the middle of the season?

Cowboys fans hyped up Richard but he's a JAG. If he was so great, why would the Seahawks have let him go? You wanna make Kellen Moore the head coach? He's really young and it's not like he's a must retain guy so far.

Fire Garrett at the end of the year and go get Lincoln Riley.

It's only 16 games of season.. my adrenaline is already flowing starting to shake about playing the Jets obviously you don't understand the emotion behind this game of football
How in the heck can you get excited about the Jets. I didnt even watch the Miami game. If the Skins and Giants weren't division rivals I wouldnt have any interest. It's the competitive games I care about and those are the ones they usually struggle. I care about those games because they are a measuring stick to see how the team is doing.

There is zero reason to spend money on the Cowboys. Stephen and his comments today make it clear Jason isn't going anywhere. We are basically the Detroit Lions or Washington Commanders. Its Jerry and Stephens toy and there is no reason for them to change. Its been 25 years of crap. If Jason isn't gone I'm getting to the point where I'm almost done with this team.
His comments today were a slap in the face to any fan who has been with this team.
If true, this is bad, because even if Jerry is gone, Steven will carry on the tradition of mediocrity for thirty more years.

After the above, there's nothing that surprises me or ruins my day when the Cowboys disappoint. Since 1995 when Jerry became the GM and then the family joined the party its been one long road to nowhere!
I have very little faith as long as a Jones is the GM of the team we will see another Superbowl title!

Yep .. that's what I've been saying for almost 20 years.

We really are the Lions/Commanders. Only they have longer NFC Championshp game droughts. They are so stupid man...they let a dinosaur of a coach game plan against Aaron Rodgers who is 14-2 against him....They also refuse to bring any other kicker in to compete with Maher. And now Jerry says that Dallas was ready to play on Sunday...yeah.....

Don’t go to games. Don’t buy merch. I haven’t in 3 years. More people should start the same practice. It’s the only thing the Jones boys care about.
I dont do either of those, havent since jimmy left, but the thing is 93,000 people went to the GB
game, they all paid for parking and food and drink too, and maybe other stuff in the stadium.
So there is always going to be those that just want to go to a game. Plus the way it is set up
even if people dont go those seats are paid for.
I see many there and they look at their phone more than the game! lol
Then there is the tv money , and the people who are actually monitored by neilsen control the
Ratings, if your not a neilsen member, what you watch has no effect on the ratings, and the ratings are just estimates based on a simple formula.
So whether you watch on tv or not does not matter.
Sponsors, jerry gets money from ATT, dr pepper ? or is it still pepsi? papa johns , and others
like the casinos, to be the official blah blah of the cowboys, then they get their money back off their customers.
So there is no way to affect jerry financially.

The only thing fans could do is to put up bill boards or buy ads on tv making fun of jerry or
making statements.
For example a bill board with picture of jason and have the red circle and slash thru the middle
then a statement like dont extend, that would get attention and embarrass jerry, but he might
just buy the bill board company and take them down lol. Even TV ads, depending on the network, he might could just pay them to not run the ads anymore.

The first step would be to start a fan union lol who would communicate, and meet on-line, or in person and discuss ways to influence jerry. but I dont see that happening.

They were ready to play lol, just not play very good. And both GB and NO played great when they
played dallas, so give them credit too.
One thing JG and even the jones dont seem to realize is that teams love to beat the cowboys.
They might play their best game of the year against the cowboys.

Campo was more qualified and more experience than Garrett coming in. You’re just measuring his record .
yeah and campo did not have any talent on offense, or a good oc. No Romo aikman or dak.
and his OL was so bad qb's were sacked as they were dropping back!

And Parcells took that roster basically adding Quincy Carter to the playoffs.

Good point and I can enjoy mediocrity like last 25 years, it just messed me and I am sure most of the older cowboys fans who had higher standards for cowboys until 1995
The Cowboy teams of those eras had higher standards. The teams this era haven’t . The fans should adjust their expectations accordingly .

Nope. Dave was not qualified to be a HC. He was however not the worst defensive coach. He just was not HC material. He was unqualified. I could see Garrett being more of a potential HC back when he was an OC more than Campo when he was a coordinator.

If Garrett had the crap talent that Campo had he would have never won a game. Garrett was blessed with talent and he squandered it.

Parcells basically only adding Quincy took that 5-11 Campo team to the playoffs. I’d argue 2003 the best coaching job we’ve seen with the Cowboys since Jimmy.

Wade squandered one of the best teams this generation in 2007.

The final chapters haven’t been written on Garrett just yet. I’ll refrain from my final assessment until then. But so far I haven’t seen a championship caliber team . 2014 had a championship caliber offense. And we never fielded it again.

I’m often conflicted with this.

I think we love what we once grew up with or came to know them as. We really don’t love what they’ve become. We just tolerate them.

It’s like a good marriage gone bad. We stay in it because of our love of the kids . We wanna see them do well.

"almost" and "tolerate" are the uglier words to use for OUR LOVE (passion) for OUR team
overall i agree with u

I do, too. On Sunday, I kept thinking how disappointing it’s become. It outweighs the joy. Last season, I made my Facebook a Cowboys-free zone. Now, I think I need a long break from football.
I quit watching NFL football with a few games to go in the 2017 season. I had quit spending money on the team several years ago and decided to take it a step farther. I finally realized I was watching out of more of an obligation after so many years as a Cowboy fanatic rather than true enjoyment. I will not watch another game as long as they keep an incompetent coach. I had watched every game for over 40 years until I got fed up. What is the point of watching and supporting a team bound for nowhere every year mainly due to an incompetent coach? I have never been happier. My Sundays are free now. There is no more worrying the preacher will preach too long when the game is at noon. I still love the team which is obvious by my still coming here to the Zone periodically, but I will keep away as long as Garrett is here. It looks like you and others are at the same point I got to in 2017. It is not as hard as you think to quit when you are truly unhappy deep down.

Are you kidding me. It's football. The most emotional game on the planet. Yeah I can get excited for the Jets
