this isn't new, its a staple of Belichick's defenses. We have the current offensive minded league because in the early 00's specifically 03 and 04 the colts couldn't beat New England and that organization whined and whined about the patriots holding wide receivers and tight ends. Manning and Tony Dungy whined more than anyone about the belichick defense.

I remember listening to Steve Young back after that 03 afc championship and he was crying about the 90 giants beating sf at candlestick in the nfc championship in part because they were holding taylor and brent jones all game and completely screwed up the 49ers timing on offense.

It's not new.

I'm no JG or Marinelli fan, and I think the Richard love is overblown, but some of this stuff is on the players too. They're getting paid a lot of money to play football.

I know patriots always get away with it’s just were seeing this league wide. Just terrible officiating that decides games.

yea i agree officiating is tough to watch. Its not the amount of flags to me its the inconsistency with which the rules are applied. some weeks they call holding on everyone, some weeks its hands to the face. There is no consistency and it has to be beyond maddening to the coaches around the league.
