Well, the Dodgers extended Roberts' contract until 2022 after the World Series last season. The Front Office likes him a lot. So, a couple more seasons of terrible post season decision making.

By virtually all measures (statistics) other than homeruns, the Astro lineup out-performed the Yankee lineup during the regular season by a tad.

But over the first round of the playoffs, the Yankee offense was hitting on all cylinders while the Astro offense was mediocre.

Absolutely, you can't sleep on the 'Stros. They struggled a bit against Tampa but I think it's going to be a fun series versus New York. I like Houston's pitching more.

They're playing Houston in the ALCS and I have Houston in seven. But Y as Yankees have alot of hype.

In the NL I think Washington Nationals might be on a magical run.

I think the Nationals are scary no matter who they would face in the WS (if of course the Nationals get that far)...

Agree. Pulling for the Yankees since I have been a life long fan but the Stros are going to be tough. I am worry about the starting pitching for the Yanks though.

Yankees did what they had to do. Now the pressure swings the other way to the Astros who need to win the next two games. If the Yankees can find a way to win one of these next two games that will leave a vulnerability against the Astros when it comes to either games 6 or 7. The Astros i think would be forced to pitch Verlander in game 5 if they lose either game 2 or 3, leaving Cole for 6 and back to Greinke for 7. Now on the other hand if the Astros win games 2 and 3 that will put the pressure back on the Yankees and will see who the Astros pitch 5-7 if needed.

So far it's going the way i think most people thought it would go.

How you Astros fans feeling about games 2 and 3?

How you Astros fans feeling about games 2 and 3?

Stros are still in the hunt but it’s going to be hard to beat the Yankees 4 out of the next 6 games. We’ll see what the Stros do when they’re backed up to a corner.
If our stars keep going O-fors, it’s going to be a quick series even with Verlander and Cole.

The Nats aces need to keep producing. If they can win this series quickly they can rest some pitchers and be ready for the World Series. After the Mystics just winning the championship, the Nats would really have the city buzzing.

And day gets worse and worse as the Yankees dropped Game 2 to the Stros to even the series. Now it goes back to the Bronx. Congrats to the Stros. It was a good game.
