I have little interest in discussions of rants, reactionary diatribe, or whining. I like discussing solutions.

What potential HC are out there that would upgrade the team? Keep in mind that this is still the Cowboys with all that entails. Your neophyte prodigy might not be as good of an idea as one may think.

I really have no idea about the college ranks but would love to see what people have in mind.
It’s already Kellen Moore’s job to lose. Say I’m a hater, but you know Jerry and you know I’m probably right.
Be very afraid

Garrett will not be released during the season so forget that

And let's remember how many head coaches were used after Jimmy Johnson. So to say "anyone" is silly

Why would a successful college coach want to leave to coach Dallas? Answer: The reason why players come to Dallas ---to get paid, not to win.

When have you not wanted to get paid? The kind of money Jerry pays can give your family generational wealth. He can get someone you wouldn't think. The problem is, until Bellichek dies, I am not sure it matters....

I just want to say if Garrett were to get fired after this game (he won't) I love that Tony Romo got to call the game and be there.

LOVE IT.

I wish Demarcus Ware could have been there too.
If I were Romo i would be a little bitter towards the Cowboys. They flat out wasted his entire career. Awesome for Ware he got to go out with a super bowl win.

Yea it is, I just don't think its happening. Garrett has survived so many negatives while everyone around him has been fired or replaced that it means they just want him here as the CEO running day to day things hoping the individual coaches and coordinators run the scheme and the play calling in game.

Jones doesn't like firing coaches with years on their contracts. As much money as the franchise makes I think that is a foolish policy but it is what it is.

Garrett is a lameduck coach. If he misses the playoffs my money is on him being canned.

I'm saying the same thing that I have for a while. I was down with Payton for example last offseason. I'm saying the exact same thing: I am always down for an upgrade.

What says a lot is that the quickest to quit still don't have any idea for a solution despite having the same sentiment for years.

Does someone have to get your 'seal of approval' for an alternative?

I don't think so.

The 'era of excuses' is over.

I don't buy that. It is the highest profile sports franchise in the US.

Parcells didn't come here to get paid for example.

I am asking for possible replacements to have a discussion. I never said I was the sole arbiter.

I have always found your megalomaniacal notions of holding billion dollar corporations accountable with your talk of excuses to be amusing.

You have any suggestions or you just going to glorify in what this days failure accomplishes for you?

Guys if you want to see him fired that is fine but it is not a plan for the future. I get that you are upset but try using the front brain a little and come up with solutions rather than taking out your angst.
The problem is their isn’t a solution mid season.
The best you can do mid season is make a hot head like Kris Richard an interm couch.

a real coach would need to wait for the offseason.

Riley seemes the most likely and probably the best candidate. Payton topped both until he signed his extension. His old contract had an out.
