Pick me. I have never coached football a day in my life and I am twice the football mind Garrett is at this point just from my years of playing madden.

I for sure would not have allowed a play call that has two WRs running deep on the same side of the field and two curls on the other side of the field. I mean what the blank was that about???

I am asking for possible replacements to have a discussion. I never said I was the sole arbiter.

I have always found your megalomaniacal notions of holding billion dollar corporations accountable with your talk of excuses to be amusing.

As I have found your never-ending attempts to make those excuses amusing as well.

It says a lot to me when even someone like you is now talking about a coaching change. That's when you know things must be bad.

You have any suggestions or you just going to glorify in what this days failure accomplishes for you?

I'm not going to simply ignore history, no.

And besides, since Jones wont do anything until after the season, I have time to compile my list that you'll undoubtedly try to poke holes in anyway.

☆Bob Stoops.
I think Saban and Harbaugh would want almost complete control considering how their NFL stints went...not sure Stoops would.
☆Urban Meyer.
I think guys like Lincoln Riley and Tom Herman would want to bring in some folks and I think JJ will try to keep these folks in place.
☆Les Miles....coached here as an asst and might be willing to just come in and try to make it work.

Bob Stoops,Urban Meyer,Les Miles.

if Jerry is serious...Nick Saban and let him pick his staff.

That has always been your characterization. Your problem is your all or nothing take on things. I have advocated an improvement at the HC position for years. You just don't pay attention to anything negative I have said about Garrett and take issue with any praise or credit I give.

I do see that you are intent on going for the vainglory after the loss thing and have no potential solutions.

the only real success JJ has had is what he needs to return to....

a college coach who won a national title who has no previous NFL experience.
•Bob Stoops
•Urban Meyer
•Daboo Sweeney

That's great and all but you need to populate the poll first. That is what this discussion is about.

Immediately, since I would fire Marinelli and Garrett, I'd go with an interim like Doug Nussmeier and give Richard complete control of the defense. I don't want Jerry to get false hope if the team shows a little more life under the interim. They need wholesale changes.

Then, I'd go negotiate a deal now with Lincoln Riley behind-the-scenes allowing him to stay at Oklahoma this season. Maybe not announce it until after the Big 12 Championship game on December 7th. That way, the Sooners can get their guy before the early signing day and it won't detract from the Sooners season. Riley should get 100% say on his coaches. If the defense improves and Riley (not Jerry) wants to retain Richard at DC, fine.

Another option would be Urban Meyer. First, he's available right now. Second, I feel his offensive scheme is IDEAL for Dak. Third, he's suffered some burn out from being a college HC. Coaching in the NFL is a grind too but they don't put in the hours a college coach does. They have more dedicated time off (no high school recruiting) so the NFL might be appealing to him.

The roster is like 80% there IMO. Need to stop ignoring glaring needs finally, but more than anything, they must completely change the coaching environment and culture.

A poll is not mandatory for discussion. If a poll is desired strongly enough, someone will seek-and-obtain the tool necessary for creating one.

You know and I know where your position has been. You don't get to suddenly 'jump sides' now. Not happening. Heck, you tried to defend Linehan!

I do see that you are intent on going for the vainglory after the loss thing and have no potential solutions.

I have no interest in putting forth the effort for 'your review'. I don't care what you think about it at this point.
