I'd gladly put a 2nd on the table for OJ Howard.

-Rookie TEs always suck. Always. If you draft a guy, he's not going to be productive for at least 1 year and probably 2. The Buccaneers have essentially paid for 2 years of Howard's "suck" period.
-Howard's got 2 cheap years left on his rookie contract.
-He's a good enough blocker to play in line, and athletic enough to make big plays from the slot.
-Garrett's... um, conservative offense can really use a true Y TE who could both block for Zeke and run hitch routes short of the 1st down marker. Howard would be a great fit.

And Tampa would realistically want to dump him. Arians only values TEs as blockers and hasn't featured a TE in his offense for at least a decade, if ever. They have Cameron Brate on the roster to fill the gap from trading Howard. He might see Howard as a sunk cost from a previous regime.

Unless it's for Tom Brady there is not one single player that can turn this franchise around right now. We are in a down down downward spiral. Lost all momentum and about to get our butts kicked by our most hated rivals next week at home.

Who can Dallas trade a #1 pick for to save this season?

Opps another Save Dak deal....man grow up there's no savior out there and accept the reality of the situation our offense lead by Mr. Prescott is for the Dogs woof woof!!!!
Might as well go trade and get Bailey back as Field Goals are the bread and butter of our Dak Friendly offense....

we need to trade for bill bellichick or sean payton to save the season (yea this has -100% chance of happening)

bringing in new players or some new coordinator isn't going to save the day

there is not a trade anywhere that is going to get us to the superbowl to win this season, and that is the only thing I consider to be a saved season, so no I would not do this.
If Garrett has lost the team then changes need to be made at the end of the season (or when losing again and again become inevitable) and a new coach with the power to do what he needs to do (read:Jerry get out of the way) needs to be chosen.

Bill Belichick can fix the team....Andy Reid/McVay/Shanahan can fix the offense.....and several can place it in better shape than it is now......of course none of the mention get involved if JJ is declaring himself GM/Coach.
The almighty McVay has also lost 3 in a row. One to the Bucs at HOME. His offense appears to be short circuiting. Goff had 44 yards going into the 4th quarter yesterday.

IN all seriousness Josh McDaniels should be a candidate here when the season is over.

Personally I would do it the old school way and hire a defensive coordinator and then let him pick his staff but Josh McDaniels has had a lot of success with banged up teams and average players. Having said this I know new england is all about belichick but have to imagine McDaniels is on a short list of a lot of teams.

I think McDaniels will be a candidate in Atlanta also which is probably a better job for him given the GM there and the Circus that is run here.
McDaniels offense has been terrible this year. Patriots are undefeated because their defense has 14 INTs. Brady’s put up QBRs of 22.5 and 30.0 this year.

You’re looking at a high draft pick at this rate. Keep it and start the rebuild. This core isn’t winning anything.

We should be trying to acquire more first round picks at this time. We'll probably need them. Heck, more second and third round picks would be good too.

…..but McVay's team ain't routinely getting punched in the mouth or out-coached...….and he's been to the SB already. His worse is routine or par for the course when looking at 'Boys.
