Exactly. Cowboys started the season 3-5 last year. Most didn't give them a chance to make the playoffs or even win the division. They proved everyone wrong. So far, after so many current mistakes and injuries, Cowboys are 3-3. If they beat the Eagles at home next week, then use the bye to get healthy and make adjustments, Cowboys could easily get hot and finish the season strong once again.
Point is though, we should have a Super Bowl ready team by now, but according to Jerry we do not. Finishing strong is the consolation prize.

If they lose 4 straight going into the Bye, I don't think Jerry will be able to tolerate the 14 days between games, nor would he be willing to duck the media that long to avoid all the Garrett questions. I also think it would be awful for the players.

It may be a token move like Marinelli, but I think something happens.

After the BYE at 3-4 (if we lose), it's:

at Giants
Vikings
at Lions
at Patriots
Bills
at Bears
Rams
at Eagles
Commanders

Hard to see 6 or 7 wins in that 9 game remaining schedule we would most likely need to make playoffs.

last year the offensive line coach was kicked out. This year they don't have that type of move to make. BTW how much fun do you think frank pollack had on that jets sideline today. Like so many fired by Garrett he got his revenge today.

At who? That’s the question! Anyone besides Garrett is really just another crap decision in long line of them.
At the Johnny Walker for wearing off, and now he sees the team as it really is. Poor fellow.

This might actually push him towards that very difficult decision of switching to something stronger? He seems that disappointed!

Jerry can say he isn't looking to the future, but we all know there is a reason JG is in the last year of his contract.

I was always a big fan of him and couldn't understand why he was released for alexander. Stupid move imo. Not surprised in the least his new o-line dominated our d-line.

Disappointed? Just now? After years upon decades of sputtering teams, you're just now disappointed?

Maybe Jerry will actually want to win something before he croaks.

That's our only chance.

He’s nearly a laugh but he’s really a cry.

Seems like the perfect time to quote Pink Floyd - Pigs (4 different ones)

Not disappointed enough to fire the people behind this loss (Rod, Richard, and Garrett). Actions speak louder than words. Jerry continues to be a man of all bark but no bite.
