As long as Jerry is here, does it really matter who the head coach is?
Amen to that. But, nothing improves with Jerry repeating his same old insane owner moves where Jerry can’t just be the owner and allow a real good coach to take over. Insanity has no bounds.

Why not? There's been an ex-HC smiling since Garrett took over.
And there's been a GM smiling since 1996.

What is so sad about this is that too many think the incompetence and dysfunction begins at the HC level, well above that. A sports franchise not dependent on winning for success will achieve it's own level of failure. In order to achieve success, there needs to be a significant fear of losing and that does not exist with this franchise. And the most necessary ingredient for success from failure is to recognize and accept our own culpability in that and these people will never do that. They think they're Texas royalty.

Personally, I feel after we have lost to philadelphia, which we will, he has 14 days of massive criticism coming his way which he can only deflect by axing jg. Maybe wishful thinking but........

Too bad there is no near end to the Jones family dynasty - the next 2 GMs are already in place.

If they lose to PHL, you won't hear much from Booger during those 14 days.

This reminds me of Wade’s last year. Jerry kept saying week after week that Wade wasn’t getting fired. Until it happened.

Why is he so bad in picking HC when is is good in sales and Marketing?

Switzer,
Campo,
Gailey,
Parcells -- we know why he got him,
Wade,
JG

25 years since Jimmy left, unbelievable judge of HC qualities

Seriously though, no more Garrett...

Why does BillyCheat always win, besides Brady?

He’s good...

Garrett isn’t good enough; move him into a FO/personnel position.. Then, replace the entire staff....

Just buy the best staff Jerry’s money can afford...

If this team starts getting blown out every week without the comebacks then Garrett will be fired in season. That's the only way he's getting fired now.

Bold, Booger does not share in the judging of that as we do. His first and foremost is can they stay in their place and not throw any shade. Look who's made all of the injury announcements. You ever see a team where the HC doesn't handle that?

The Dallas Cowboys have lost three straight games, but Jerry Jones isn't ready to pin all of the blame on Jason Garrett.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 3-0 mark with one of the NFL's highest scoring offenses.

"I'm going to be very trite. I was a lot happier with what he had done the first three games than what's happened the last three games," Jones said of Garrett. "But the big thing I want to say is it's not just him. This is across the board. That had a lot of input out there tonight to get in that spot."

Speaking on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas last week, Jones dispelled the possibility of Garrett getting fired in-season after some oddsmakers made him the second favorite head coach to be fired, behind Atlanta's Dan Quinn.

"Don't bet any money [on] that happening," Jones said. "You'll lose it."

Jerry always in defense-mode for Garrett. I’m surprised he actually admitted he was partially at fault though. Maybe that’s progress...

Booger will defend Garrett as long as he can because he had no plans not to extend him when this season began. Lose Sunday night and that gets tougher because the media is just waiting to go on the hunt. Booger is a defiant person but only to a point. The minute this begins to shift toward his competency level for keeping Garrett, that's when things heat up. His ego cannot withstand the blame falling on him.

I still do not think he fires Garrett during the season as that makes no business sense and that's probably the worst insult an owner can give to a HC, remove him before it's over. Garrett is too close to the Highland Park Hillbillies to be treated like that and who would he turn the team over to?

And all the while this is going on, somewhere there's an ex Cowboys OC smiling to himself. Looks like his successor was a 3 game Jesus.
Exactly, who would take this job?
