According to a tweet by NFL Network producer Bobby Belt about yesterday’s loss to the Jets:

NFL teams are 90-1 since 1991 when they win time of possession, total yards, turnovers, pick up 25 first downs, and convert at least 10 or more 3rd down attempts.

Dallas' loss to the Jets on Sunday is the one loss.”

Ouch. The Cowboys somehow find a way to lose.

that’s not an ‘amazing stat’ for a Garrett coached team

we have achieved much greater depths since he has been here

There is way more going on here, then just the players. I can't believe I'm saying this but you really have to wonder if something has happened, perhaps in the locker room, that we are not aware of?

It was bound to happen eventually. Stats don't show how hard the Jets played compared to the Cowboys. They don't show it it looked like the Jets knew what the Cowboys were going to do in every crucial situation, or was it just that they beat the Cowboys at the point of attack when it mattered.

Finally the results of the PROCESS coming forth us. Probably why Stephen gave the vote of confidence to carrot on the radio show. He did something no other coach has ever done.

With the way this team is constructed and managed, that would not be surprising. I wonder if all the big money that got thrown around in the off season and capitulating to a player holding out with 2 years left could have had any locker room effect?

And yet somehow I don't find this shocking. There is nothing that could surprise me about this team anymore, except making a deep playoff run.

Wow. That locker room has to be teetering on the verge of chaos right now. And the architect of all this- our GM “til death do us part” will be conducting “business as usual” on his weekly radio show tomorrow and onward.

Every week they are defying some weird kind of stat like that.

Reminds me of how a TV blurb said that Bill Parcells was 77-0 when holding a lead of 13 points or more in the fourth quarter.

Around half an hour later, the Cowboys blew a 13-0 lead and lost to the Commanders. 2005 season.
