Pederson has put it out there. The Eagles will come to Dallas and win. If they do, I don't think Garrett survives the bye week.

He should not survive win or lose. It just doesn't matter. Get his arse out the door.

Garrett is like handing a teen ager that just got his license, the keys to your Jag...and expecting a good outcome. ITS HIGHLY RISKY...HIGH risk low reward. Time to get a competent driver.

I wonder who the source is. Maybe JG will get pushed out if he loses badly to the E-girls.

I can't see Garrett being gone until we're out of the playoff race. Some have mentioned Wade Phillips being fired as evidence that the Joneses will fire a coach during the season. But we were 1-7 when Phillips was fired.

Because it prolongs what needs to happen, and gives the same false hope we've gotten from Garrett the past 10 years
no its hoping for loss .. wins are best this gets back on track and win a SB..sorry if thats too ,much positivity for this site, but until that dram is dead..im all onboard for wins...

Marinelli should be fired NOW..THEN IF WE LOSE TO PHILLY, GARRETT. Waiting is dumb..why wait? Why not light a fire under the team now while we are still in it? JERRY IS ALWAYS LOYAL TO A FAULT.

That's all well and good dude. But I'm over Garrett, and most of us are. I want the team to do well but the same ol same ol from him after this amount of time is unbearable. I'm not rooting for a loss, I'm rooting for change. Take it however you want.

I still rather go to the playoffs and him get fired then be 5-11 truy he will be fired without going to the NFCCG so let nature takes it course but I and most true fans will not applaud and hope for losses...

I don’t see Jerry firing him mid season .. I don’t think it will be until the season is over

Jerry made the move with Wade. He made a move to get Cooper last season. Supposedly considered dumping Linehan midseason last year. That's one he probably wished he had pulled the trigger on now. He'll be less hesitant to pull the trigger this season.

I bet Jerry heard Tony's Sunday line of seeing Garrett's fingerprints all over this offense. I'm sure Jerry likes the new and shiny look of the first 3 games better than the old, familiar, and impotent look of most of the last 3.

Jason has job security because his choice is tied to Jerry's ego.

The primary problem is Jerry. Until Jerry subjugates his ego to the futility of his choice, nothing will change. Jerry is going to use any type of victory or positive direction to keep Jason here.

This team and franchise is doomed unless there is an outright rebellion from the players.

Yeah she hasn't exactly hit home runs with her inside sources.

That being said, if they lost to Philly you are staring at a possible Wade Phillips situation here. They'd probably give him a bit more leeway but let's say they lost to Philly and then lose at NY and home against the Vikes? I would not be surprised if he's cooked at that point.

mid we lose to Philly on Sunday the wheels are coming off.

its crazy to say but I think the cowboys win sunday. Garrett always finds a way to keep his head above water right when you think he's about to drown. Every got dang time

The funny thing about the NFL is that not matter what, things come back around. I seriously doubt the Cowboys are going to lose 4 games in a row. If they lose this game at home then they have truly given up on Garrett.

While I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Philly hands our tails to us, we tend to play them pretty well. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them actually.
Even so, I still hold to what I said before the season: It's NFC Championship or bust for Garrett. He's not going to survive this year coming up short. If we tank by losing three straight to bring us at 3-6, I'm not so certain Jerry won't just ride this out and can Garrett after the season is over. There are some good quarterbacks coming out, and some good coaches will be on the market. We'll miss out on Tua (who I've said is a better quarterback now than Dak is), but that DT from Auburn (his name slips me now) is a beast.

He won’t this time. This team has no pride, sense of urgency, or ability to pull themselves out of this. I hope the boo birds are out in full force next Sun.
