How does this tailspin affect Dak's dreams of riches or highest-paid?

Blokes, is Jerry ready to still shower Dak with $100 million?

I'd say Dak has been better than average even in a 3-game free fall. But holy pie and mash! Being better than average does not or should not qualify for mega riches!

Any news on Dak's pending contract????
What is your take, ruffians, on Dak's value as of today?

It'll be a lot more than 100 million. Look for it to happen during the bye week to deflect attention from Garrett.

That’s contract talks I’d table. The new coaching staff should have a say in the QB.
It’s an interesting dilemma... there are probably some coaches who would be glad to have him, but likely just as many who, if they’re going to put their reputations on the line, might want a more dynamic player at the position.
It’s hyperbolic to say that Dak’s contract fluctuates from week to week, by touchdown or interception. But I think he did cost himself money. If he had come out and continued the same hot start that he did against the first three tomato cans, I think they would have backed up the truck. But once he played some teams with a pulse, he turned back into the Dak pumpkin that at any time can go multiple weeks in a row without a TD pass.

Dak is no Brady; that's for sure. But he hasn't been the biggest problem the last three games. He isn't making Gallup and Cooper drop passes that hit them in the hands. Jerry sees that and knows it CAN get worse. Dak does just enough to keep it interesting most of the time.

Well, we've been all through this but it doesn't matter really. I mean, the key here is really what other teams might be willing to pay Dak. Now I don't really think that the number is going to anywhere near what a lot of posters thought it might be. I still believe that the price tag for Dak is probably in the area of 20 to 25 but he might see a little higher offer then that from a team who is desperate for QB help.

Here's the thing though, I can see Jerry offering him the original offer, so long as he can work the details to make it team friendly. The key is really Garrett and what happens with him IMO.

I don't believe that Lincoln Riley is coming to Dallas, for example but, if he did come to Dallas, would he want Dak as his QB? That's what we don't know.

Dak will be half used up by the time of the next coaching staff, which is coming sooner rather than later. You must give the next head coach a real opportunity to find the next guy.

First time I’ve said this, but with the prospect of a full Coaching overhaul, I’d say let Dak play it out and let the new coach come in and set the table for himself. He shouldn’t be handcuffed, personnel wise, with the exception of the recent contracts that will be costly to offload. Hence, why make anymore commitments to personnel at this point?

Sorry Dak, but you and/or your agent played the waiting game at the wrong time. Should’ve cashed-in early in what was very likely to be a lame-duck year for the HC.

If things stay relatively as they are, Jerry should offer $40,000,000.00 for three years with $25,000,000.00 guaranteed and third year team option.

Dak is good enough to win it all IF the rest of the team does its job. But who cares? Why dump a ton of money on one guy when you neglect other positions and have no desire to get real coaches in here? No QB is winning on this dumpster fire right now.

If another team is willing to pay him $20+million per year, let him go.
If however, he plays well, and leads Dallas to division championship, and wins a playoff game, it's another story.....he maybe worth $20million.

Honest answer:.

Who the hell cares?

I'm worried about Cowboys victories

Dak isn't worth anywhere near what he's asking. In a weird way this tailspin may be saving the franchise from a decade of cap hell for overpaying a pedestrian bus driver

Heck, I'd win the Superbowl at QB in a Perfect World.
