He won’t this time. This team has no pride, sense of urgency, or ability to pull themselves out of this. I hope the boo birds are out in full force next Sun.

Honestly I won’t mind losing to the Eagles (damn that hurt to say) as long as it contributes to the firing of Jason Garrett. I can’t take anymore of his mediocrity! You can tell he’s the problem because he couldn’t do anything with Romo, Murray, and Dez. Now he’s going to ruin the careers of Dak, Zeke, and Amari. How in the hell do you get so lucky with 2 sets of playmakers and not go anywhere significant with them?

If we lose to Philly, then they beat Buffalo during our bye week, we turn into huge underdogs in the Division. Eagles would have 5 wins, be up 2.5 games on us, and still have Dolphins, Commanders, Giants x2. Our Wildcard chances would look bad, with the bulk of our NFC opponents coming up, lost tiebreaker to GB (and NO but they probably take the south). And a trip to Foxborough on the schedule.

In that scenario, bye Jason.

If Eagles beat us, then lose to Buffalo it gets a little more interesting. In that case, if we lose to the Giants after the BYE week, then bye Jason.

Eagles, Giants, Vikes, Lions next 5 weeks. Then the Pat's.

We really need to win 3 of those games before going to NE. 2-2 going into NE is likely making us 2-3. We'd be 5-6 with Bills, Bears, Rams, Eagles on the schedule, and a Commanders team the last week that'd love to kill us. Eagles last 5 games are the easy ones above, then us. Dolphins, Giants, Commanders, Us, Giants.

Jason should be coaching for his life this week. About as close as you can get to a must win in the NFL this time of year. Drop this game and our odds immediately look like crap.

I was listening to Philly sports talk radio today and they are convinced Garrett is gone after the season in favor of Baylor's head coach Matt Rhule.

when has he ever done that?

He said he was going to do this few years back and they won few games afterwards. Maybe he'll now stop bringing the free donuts for the Monday morning meetings.

the jets just gave the eagles the blueprint for beating the cowboys. they'll maul our d-line. they'll maul our o-line. they'll force dak to have to be the guy to beat them. they'll stack the box and make life miserable for zeke. we will have to be at our best.
With all due respect, that blueprint has been out for a while.

Jerry truly believed, as did many fans including myself, that we had put together a team that could go to the big dance. Now we're seeing the team go down the drain. I don't think Jerry can take any more disappointment. A loss to the eagles would, imo, be the final straw.

Guys this is finally happening. And if it doesn’t it’s because we are SB champs

I wonder who the source is. Maybe JG will get pushed out if he loses badly to the E-girls.

That’s not the norm quote we get from Garrett. It’s rather pragmatic than optimistic. Which is nice...we win or we don’t. We’ll see this week,it’s kinda up to the players. He knows we are stuck to this. Asked myself same question last night...what can they do? Buy a new defense in FA over the bye? Get a new K..or heathy WRs..linemen...a new playbook to run? We’re in a wedge point. . It’s up to the players...stay healthy and carry out the plays. That’s our situation. Dang...this is ramping up fast. One game this week is gonna steer the future.

Yeah,it’s very disappointing. I’m stunned we did a 180 nosedive into the toilet this fast. Not surprised but it’s a blindside tackle. I didn’t see them in position for this year, but one step closer to it. Now? I bummed. Not to see Rod go,but that we didn’t get to have progress at all and had to go defcon 2 “Dallas” mode. This game is now defcon 1. Season withstanding,it does change what direction franchise goes from here. Ratings will be record breaking I bet. Holy snot I’m hooked as a soap opera junkie on fruit pies and couches to see this game now.
