fixed it for you @Reality

QP6TnQC.jpg

NFC Championship games since January 14, 1996.
8674 days Or 23 years, 9 months Or 285 months

Garrett's a huge problem. Jerry's the biggest problem.

I notice the OP didn’t post the actual records of the eight coaches. I know it’s about Super Bowls but it’s a significant stat that was omitted.

After reading this I felt like Andy Dufrain questioning the warden in Shawshank Redemption..."How can you be so obtuse?"

It's probably just me tho as I may have misinterpreted contextually, lol

P.S. After scrolling just now I see the question was addressed and answered. So maybe I wasn't confused after all, lol.

Sometimes there's like alternate reality twilight zone stuff on here that I hafta double check myself just to make sure I'm not going crazy.

Nope, not this time anyway

Lets be real here fellas, outside of Idgit and Diehard, aint nobody else on the planet thinks this dude is actually good.

He would have been fired years ago if he worked for any other NFL team.

Here is another stat...…….every head coach that has taken their team to the SB did so before their 9th season. No head coach with Garrett's tenure suddenly takes their team to the SB, it has never happened. In other words, if it was going to happen, it would have happened by now. No head coach sucks for 9 seasons and then makes a bowl run, it just doesn't happen.

So armed with this knowledge, what is the argument to keeping Garrett?

I’ve blocked it out finally.

How exactly did he mishandle the clock in Green Bay playoff loss a few years ago? Or was it regular season.

We should’ve run and the game might’ve been over?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have built the Star, bought a new yacht and the bank accounts are full. Jerry's priorities are in order but his priorities are not the same as the fan's......

...and thats the fans fault.

Since he is gone anyway (except if we make the NFCC or SB - yeah right), I know it is painful, but losing out or going below .500 could be good thing for the organization. We could get high draft pick and maybe get our round 1 top QB, save a ton of money on Dak and for the next couple for years on a rookie QB, and let the new HC and his staff get their QB as well.

We are suffering anyways, so what's one more year in the scheme of 25 years

8+ seasons as the full time HC
3 playoff appearances
2 playoff wins

7 head coaches still have their job since Garrett became the full time HC in 2011:
6 have appeared Super Bowls.
5 have won the Super Bowl.

Garrett is the only Dallas Cowboys coach ever to :
  • Lose a game when leading by 14 in 4th qtr (jets 2011)
  • Lose a game after leading by 24 (detroit 2011)....did a similar repeat of this later in GB 2013 game
  • The Cowboys (JG) established a new franchise low in rushing touchdowns in the 2011 season with five, which included a rushing TD by Romo himself
  • Ice his kicker on a winning kick and lose the game....Arizona 2011
  • Lose 3 win or go home games in a row
  • Have 3 non winning seasons in a row, (tied with Campo) also coach Landry when the franchise was first created
  • Go 8-8 3 seasons in a row
  • Had the worst defense in franchise history
  • Go 10 quarters without scoring a TD. Club record. (2017)
  • Score single digits in 3 straight games. Club record. (2017)
  • Lose to a team who had more penalty yardage than offensive yardage. Club record. (2017)
  • Have 4 losses by over 20 points. (2017)
  • Get 8 sacks in 1 game. The most given up by any Cowboy team since 1991.
  • Score 10 points or less in 3 straight games. (2017)
  • Lose a game when running 42 times in a game (2012)
  • Allow 625 yards and 40 first downs in a game (2013)

Jason Garrett is the now the only coach ever to lose a game while winning Time of Possession, Total Yards, Turnovers, Pick up 25 First Downs, and convert at least 10 or more 3rd downs. (91 game sample)
:hammer::facepalm::muttley:

Wish I could give you more than a single "like" for this post. Anyone still drinking the Garrett kool-aide should be forced to read this post every single day.

What narrative is that?

Belichick: .746 win percentage
Payton: .621 win percentage
Tomlin: .644 win percentage
Harbaugh: .593 win percentage
Garrett: .563 win percentage
Carroll: .630 win percentage
Rivera: .563 win percentage

He's tied for dead last amongst his peers.

One of these things is not like the others:

And they're still tacking on those 5 crap wins in 2010. That % should be lower. What a joke. Some really love to brag about that regular season win percentage. lol It's a facade. Just meaningless garbage!!!

didn't we also lose a game to Detroit (in detroit) when we were up like 10 with less than two minutes to go and had the ball? I remember being up 13 to the Giants with four minutes to go and losing too.
Was that the one where Stafford completed a long pass to the 1 yard line and acted like he was going to spike it then qb snuck it in?
