We are to the eagles what the Jets were to us going into the game. I think we beat Philly then lose some more games a roller coaster ride for the remainder of the season.

That maybe just what the Cowboys need to hear.
Honestly, prior to hearing this from Peterson I would have thought the eagles were gonna throttle the Cowboys. Now, I don't know.

Don’t put away your noose just yet. Cowboys are still gonna get throttled. Trust me.

I hope he's right. First time in my life I am rooting for the Eagles to destroy us.

I want this franchise to feel the embarrassment that I have for for 24+ years I've been watching them.

Sadly, I’m like this too. It’s beyond sad going for your most hated rival because you want your team to be embarrassed and your head coach fired that bad. But half the fanbase is wishing for this right now. If I even watch, I’ll be shouting Wentz from the couch....

"Yeah yeah, the sky is falling, the team is in the crapper... but hey, look on the bright side: the Cowboys are up next."

Team's a joke.

I'm guessing this may be a competition on which team can drop the most passes, sleep the most quarters, and call the dumbest plays.

Fletcher Cox is going to be tossing Connor Williams around like a rag doll, its going to be laughable.

Its going to be bad, real bad.

I dont blame Pederson for being confident, I would be too if I was playing against this crap team.

Same here. The Eagles have their own issues, but I don't have faith that this coaching staff will be able to exploit those weaknesses.

We don't exploit others weaknesses, we get exploited.

By everybody.

Sometimes you have to amputate a limb to save the patient..…..if a loss to Philly gets Garrett fired, I bet most of this board would be for it.

Exactly. It's the big picture. Not one or two games, or even seven or eight games in a single, inevitably lost season. But the bigger picture of getting off of the Garrett-go-round of accomplishing nothing for over a decade.

Who was the NFC favorite to go to the Superbowl?

Eagles was the pick for some...Dallas was the pick for some. There were also lots of Rams and Saints picks. You just have to look around.

Bottom line is that both teams are underachieving currently. When I first heard Pederson say what he did, I didn’t like it. But that feeling only lasted a split second. I like the fact that he has faith in his team and is showing a little fire. What he actually said vs the way it is being perceived by some is very different. He’s had the pulse of his team and they do rally behind him. It’s not false bravado.

That all said, it’s still a gutsy comment to make given the state of his secondary. I haven’t seen a worse back end of a defense in a very long time. They are so bad that if the Cowboys are still missing Cooper this Sunday, it may not matter.

With that....if Dallas comes out flat and lays an egg - it's over - over for Garrett and over for the season - on the other hand - this is a perfect time to right the ship and open a can of whoop-*** on a hated cocky rival - which will it be?

I am with you. Its going to be a fun game. Dak will have to prove himself once again. Wentz can be average and no one cares.
