Dak played without both of his starting tackles. Greenberg is ridiculous for saying that.

Says the guy who thinks
He is better :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: you are a definition of a fair weather fan. Talk to me when Darnold actually wins a playoff game or a division.
Oooof lazy and stupid “analysis.”

You probably think Dilfer is better than Marino.

He was drafted quite high.

I mean, won't blow me away if Darnold turns out to be pretty good, even after a rough first year.

I like Darnold as well. He will be a good one when he gets a better team around him.

At this point, I take Dak. But you never know.

Overall, it was a gutsy performance from Dak in a game where he had to overcome numerous obstacles. He was without both of his starting tackles, constantly hurried and took some massive hits (NYJ registered eight QB hits).

Still, with all this against him, he finished 28 of 40 for 277 yards and a 73.5 QBR, which keeps him atop the QBR leaderboard this season on top of three carries for 11 yards and a touchdown. I guess you failed to see dak huh Greenberg?!

After rewatching the game, I can honestly say that Darnold looks like a pretty special QB.

I was down on him originally but I think i may just have been responding to his unusually large and oddly shaped head.

Dak was not the problem yesterday ... well, maybe he should have made a better call on the 2 pt conversion (Zeke needed to be blocking) but there were just too many dropped passes.

Romo said last year sometime that he has watched quite a bit of film on Darnold and Jet fans should be real excited. I have a friend that said we are gonna kill the Jets and I said Darnold is back and he laughed. He is much better then anyone gives him credit for. Dude looks for real. Watch thee Jets play good next week and put up a hell of a fight vs the Pats.
For a while they might give the Pats one hell of a fight but you got to remember one thing and I'm sure you're already aware of this the Patriots are very well-coached from top to bottom and for the most part their owner lets them do their job instead of pretend that he knows more than they do

Didn't watch the video and didn't read all of the comments but as some of you may know Mike Greenberg is a huge Jets fan - so his opinion is invalid and nothing Darnold has done in his career proves that he's better than Dak (even though Darnold was a #3 draft pick and Dak was a 4th round #135 draft pick).

if his opinion is null and void because he is a jets fan then...Isn't your opinion because you are a cowboys fan null and void?

LOL I love how nobody has to prove anything anymore.

Draft status somehow means more than what happens on the field.

Darnold’s better than Dak because of literally ONE game? Uh, sure, why not!?!?

While Sam has work to do....why would this even be controversial from a talent perspective? Darnold was a higher number 1 pick.

Dak was available in the 4th for a reason. He has limited arm talent and he processes information slowly.

Maybe it's not the talent perspective that people are focusing on. Maybe it's production at comparable points in their careers. Neither player will be in next year's draft so arm talent and processing information slowly (yikes) kind of take a back seat to actually producing in the NFL. Countless talented players have been cut for a lack of a production, but I'm hard-pressed to think of a single productive player who was cut because someone viewed them as being untalented.

Greeney is a Jets fan and is excited after their upset win lol...

Talent-wise Darnold is better— but that is only one measure of performance. Lots of QBs get drafted high because of supposed talent— then fail to do anything in this league. Todd Marinovich or Ryan Leaf anyone?

Dak has won games in this league and has at least led his team to division titles and a playoff win. Is he Tom Brady? No. But Dak’s track record and stats gets more disrespect than any other player in the NFL.

Anything good he does he gets zero credit for— and any mistakes he makes are blown up and over-emphasized.

Greeney is dog-piling here and is enjoying a chance to thump his chest about his QB. Will never mistake an opinion like this as actual objective analysis

Darnold did nothing special in our game. His plays were a product of how unspecial Kris Richard has become. Not giving up on the defense or the team as it is way too early but he has not been the Tampa 2 genius that I thought he would be.

He had a good game against our terrible defense, is that really a huge shocker? He even admitted to figuring it out. Against better defenses things will be different.
Darnold will be a good QB with the right pieces IMO.

Notice that they throw Prescott under the bus in one breath, and then rattle off all of the missing players on offense. Laughable to not see the real issue here. O line (which should improve) and another BS "defense" that continues to underachieve.
Watching that was like watching a bunch of children telling stories. Darnold MAY be a better QB, but to use the NY game as the only example is beyond ignorant.
Also, Greenturd is a blowhard.

We all know the 1st three games were vs. weaker teams, which is why I'm not spending a lot of time whining. Had we had all our starters healthy (I know, "it's football")we win every game but maybe GB.
