Cool. Can we pull up every single horrible play from Frederick and this OL. We'd be here awhile. They have been god awful as of late. Especially on the 2pt play where Fred and Martin got flattened and let the rush come right up the middle.

Seems like one fake in and out would have taken him to the house!

You win for best post in this thread.

The only option for a chance at a TD other than cutting inside would have been an inside cut then back outside.

The timing would be tight. He would need to sell inside until the defender started to reverse direction.

The question is if he can sell inside before being too close to Frederick to be able to cut back outside.

The 1st image below shows that the Safety can easily cut off the outside path.

The 2nd image is the point at which the defender starts reversing direction.

He was a 4th round pick. 4th round picks don't get labeled "busts". Barber isn't even remotely close to the discussion of "biggest busts in NFL history"
You are a bust when you sign a $42 million contract and then gain less than 3000 yards in 4 years.

There were about 3-4 runs if he had just bounced outside he would have easily gained 12+ yds on if not more.

Even my lady was like is his peripheral vision damaged or something.

New helmet? Drugs? What’s wrong is he just fat?

No, cutting back inside was the correct choice.

Look at the other camera view starting at about 0:14 in that video.

If Zeke cuts outside there is no chance that Frederick can block that defender.
Agree to disagree. I know this is asking a lot, but had Elliott juked to his left, the defender would have slipped. Just like he did. Having cut back to the right there's an opportunity for more yards. I'm not doing this "start here" in slow motion. I watched it at regular speed.
And then I could be wrong and he gains nothing more.

Dude, this is NOTHING compared to what rookies used to make in the first round. Not even remotely freakin' close. You exaggerated on your point here. Barber wasn't a bust by any means, he was a 4th round pick that was a good change of pace back that got pushed into a starting role.

What are you talking about? If Zeke cuts outside, it is one on one, cutting inside he is putting more than one defender in position for a tackle. Are you as blind as Zeke?
The defender was mirroring him. Not as simple as an open outside lane. Your agenda definitely makes you blind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Show me a hole like the ones I posted or stop running your mouth. Thanks

RB from the same draft class

Where is the gigantic hole? How many tackles did he break? Why can't Zeke? Where are his long runs? Are you a biased food? Are you pretending to be one? I can ask questions too, see?

This is not an argument - the inside allowed two guys at him, the outside would put him one on one. Aren't you the guy who said Patriots RB was going to tear up the league this year? That he was elite?

Shades of Marion Barber after he got paid. 2016 zeke takes that to the house. Is it really possible to lose that much speed in 3 seasons? You can see Frederick is pretty upset...

I was so upset when Zeke impatiently cut back inside, instead of patiently hitting it outside for what could have been a 75 yard TD. Almost seemed like Zeke wanted to get the play over with and not get as much out of it as possible.

Are you serious? He wasn’t touched until the safety got to him lol. And since when could Zeke manhandle dbs like Derrick Henry? Try again

That wasn't the argument you asked, you said hole. There was no "hole" there, he used vision to get through and even had to use his feet to get away from the pile. He then had to break tackles in the open field. This is a dude that is bigger and slower than Zeke, and he took it 99 yards and only the second RB to do it.

Zeke has 41 yards on 700 carries for his long. You're moving the goal post and I am going to call your butt out on it.
