in many way it reminds me of early 2018, it can turn on a dime

It could also turn if we aren't missing our starting OT's, starting WRs and starting CBs for most of a game. Call me an apologist, but that just might be a factor.

Well maybe 20 years of seeing the same thing just might be a factor also.

Do me a favor, go find someone on the street that is mad as hell. Pull your phone out, hit record then go up and tell them to calm down. Next, post what comes next on here so we can laugh.
Telling people who are irate to calm down shows an extreme lack of self awareness.

Hard to calm down when even our great owner said this was the best young talent he has had during his tenure as GM/owner......guess he forgot about the Jimmy Johnson years.

My bad, I had no idea we were missing six starters, 3 of them Pro Bowlers, every game for the last 20 years.

Those players were a factor in this team going to the playoffs for two of the last three seasons, speaking of factors.

The Saints and Packers are two of the top teams in the league and we lost to them by a total of four points. I guess those two teams are just slightly above terrible.

I guess you didn't watch the continued regression of the team against the Jets. I can't bring myself to recap it for you. And the Packers aren't that good without the help of officials.

I can't bring myself to explain to you what regression means in terms of six data points.

I gave the OP a like for optimism.

But at the moment I can't trust a single player or coach on this team to do anything right. Come on, Cowboys, prove me wrong and get on a run.

Nope, can’t do an “everyone calm down” post today. Not after this last loss.

These posts are made every season. Nothing ever gets better here. We have a good season every so often but end up getting embarrassed in the playoffs. Won't be any different this year. Someone is going to have to win this crappy division and it will be us or the Eagles. Either team will lose wild card weekend. Seeing as how neither of us will be good enough at all to get a bye. The NFC is stacked. There are going to be some very good wild card teams this year. We have zero chance at that right now. Division title or bust.

We made a run last year. And it ends the same way it always does. Getting blown off the field in the divisional round. Our staff is stale. Gameplan is stale.

It's way more the coaches than the players at this point. I see a team that is going through the motions. They have zero faith their coaching staff can help or guide them.

It's disturbing how this team has come out with so little emotion in every game this year; even the ones they've won. They wait around to get hit in the mouth and by the time they respond it's too late.

Like you said, this is a coaching issue. I know every NFL team is talented, but there's no excuse for the Cowboys not being at least 5-1 at this point. Losing to the Saints on the road and to the Packers is one thing. The friggin' Jets clowning them was the last straw for me.
