If Cowboys fans started chanting "sell the team", that would be impressive. Jerry would know he has to do something to stop the chant. Jerry would fire someone for sure, maybe not the HC, but somebody or something would have to be the sacrifical lamb.

I think the mascot should just be a guy in a blue suit, staggering around holding a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue, with a giant smiling, winking Jerry head. What could be more representative?

The end result at the stadium is extremely peculiar. Many that sell their tickets barely break even, so basically the Cowboys fans in the DFW area mortgaged PSLs in order to supply opposing fans tickets to see the Cowboys play.
