Say we lose, would anyone get the handshake farewell?

..its 50/50 with this game. Considering the injuries for Philly. We should have the advantage, but that doesn't operate in DC football. If we lose, some heads got to be rolling somewhere. Will be playing catch up in 2nd place with 7 muscle teams waiting in the batting circle, barring the NY.

Who might be possible of getting the axe? Or even demoted?

Prax, this is a hard question to answer. We have a completely self centered, unconventional GM/owner, who worries more about how much “credit” he’s going to get instead of who gives us the best chance to win.

Honestly, I have no idea what Jerry does if we lose Sun night. If we get embarrassed on national TV, he may be forced to make a move. If it’s close and we lose, I think Garrett-noccio will stay.

I don’t see any scenario where anyone gets fired after this game.

I tried to think of a funny or witty scenario to type and get a few likes but I just don’t see a single scenario where anything changes no matter what happens vs Eagles.

I think Garrett stays win or lose. We need the Giants to blow us out after the bye week.

A blowout like the ravens dolphins game could spark something but I doubt it

The cowboys will lose this game, most of the players have given up and they're hanging on by a thread in terms of self esteem. This is all due to our feeble and weak coach. Yes they love him, they want to play hard for him, but as soon as they get punched in the mouth they fold. The players will play hard but won't win, no heads will roll and it will be more of the same. Jerry has already accepted that this season may go down drain and he is willing to ride it out .. Now, he may fire hoody doody after a few more big loses and if the players quit on him consistently.

The team was 3-5 last year and turned it around. This will give Jones enough hope that THIS team will do the same thing. I dont see Garrett getting fired unless we are something like 3-8.

Lawrence has stepped up and Dak have both stepped up this week trying to rally the troops and speaking out. The players are leading out team this week it would seem.

Maybe Rod , why because KR and RM philosophy's clash, KR is already doing more then 50% of the defense PLUS play calling.. if the defense continues to struggle and Rods been teetering on retirement a long time, the most likely and easiest transition would be akin rod to retire or fore him and let KR have the BYE to adjust the team..

No way with the team still in contention with 9games left does JG get the axe..

Rod may decide to step down / retire.
But I doubt anything will change.

Not sure who it would be, but I could see Jerry and Garrett trying it after they fired the OL coach last year and then went on that run.

Let me rephrase. No one of significance lol. I fully agree. A defensive coordinator may get the axe. Most likey Marinelli. Not overly sure how much he is actually coaching and calling plays at this point anyways. Having said that Richard doesn't seem any better. Runs around a lot and yells at guys. Then continue to do the same things next series..

Don't see Garrett being fired midseason.

We'd have to be embarrassed. Then it would be Rod or Colombo at best.
If I were betting, I'd go Colombo if the OL looks bad......and they will:facepalm:

maybe it does make difference both their philosophys' are so different the front end and the back are not in sync..like last year it wasn't just the Amari move but the oline coach and some small teaks that got this turned around..

maybe the D this happens if the entire D is run by mainly one DC instead of 1A and !b not on the same page..
